I vote Rune Factory 4, especially since you just got it. I hope to get that at some point.

I've been sloooowly playing Godeater and it's very good. The AI partners are surprisingly competent.
I played and really enjoyed Sonic Colors but I've fallen behind since then. I want to play Generations and Lost World but I don't have them This looks cool though.
As for the whole speed thing, I thought they went overboard with Sonic Rush (and presumably its sequels). The levels were all built over bottomless pits and I'd go flying off into the abyss all the time. Not fun. I do have a soft spot for Sonic's speedy levels in Sonic Adventure 2 though. They were like crazy roller coasters.
I wish they would just give that franchise a year off but I know it won't happen. I remember Sledgehammer was supposedly working on a sci-fi CoD, according to rumor at least. Maybe we'll see that.
Nothing wrong with playing what you have
Well, sometimes you ARE left out. There is so much crap on the App Store that it's kind of shocking, but there are some great experiences to be had as well. My poor little iPhone 4 isn't even able to run some of the newer ones but I've found some real gems too.
Man, it would be hard to a DS collection down to 18 games. So many good ones! That's a cool idea though.
Future Perfect and Second Sight are both great games. I have a bunch of PS2 games I've picked up in recent years but haven't actually played yet. What would be awesome with PSNOW, though, is if you could play PS2 games on the Vita. I don't remember if that possibility has been addressed yet or not.
This game is awesome! We never did beat it though. That last boss was super tough and just getting to him was pretty hard. I'd love to play its pseudo sequel on the Game Boy, Ninja Gaiden Shadow.
Gravity Rush gets a full recommendation from me! And they announced a sequel at last year's Tokyo Game Show, so I'm excited for that
