I agree with Amnesia. I haven't encountered my first monster yet and i'm already scared to continue. It really does a fine job with the horror.

Love me some House of the Dead. Though, I had only played the second and third game, they are a lot of fun. Though I will say that I prefer Time Crissis when it comes to light-gun games.
Not a fan, but I do like the music of the Rob. I also quite like his asthetic for campy horror that is present on his solo works and when he was with White Zombie.
But slightly off topic: Come on! Not all modern music is bad. If you are in the right places and you go outside the pop charts, there's great music out there.
I kinda hope to get DMC someday. My only experience with the Devil May Cry franchise was playing the first minutes of the third game, but the reboot looks like its own thing so newbies to the franchise can get the game.
"Me as a minority in a big crowd": Go Wii U.
I'm also reading the Foundation Trilogy, which I got it as single book I bought last year at my local book fair. So far, it has been really interesting and it has managed to keep me more inmersed than I Robot (not that the last one is bad by any means).
Just for curiosity, what is that make you hate the GTA games? Is it the gameplay, the story, anything else? I just never don't know.
I think my close experience with Resident Evil 2 was its chapter on the Darkside Chronicles game for the Wii. Nevertheless, this looks very good.
Great news man. Glad you got your Xbox and 360 back to normal.
And don't forget that Metal Gear is also a master for male fanservice.
