I used to be less sceptical but these days I wouldn't be surprised at anything Microsoft and Sony would pull to make money/ ensure having a buisness advantage. They have good reason to be worried, negative comments spread like wildfire on the internet and I ve yet to hear any positives about the 'one'. I'm sure it's not all doom and gloom but thats not what people are reporting! who knows what length corporations as big as Microsoft will go to to ensure they come out on top.

for the first time ever I'm seriously considering a decent PC set up, I couldn't care less about the 'home entertainment guise' that Microsoft are peddling here and I ve heard rumours about a 360 attachment for the X Box one which would allow 360 games to be played on their new system, plus Microsoft have confirmed that the X Box has nearly five more years of life due to continued support (how true this is remains to be seen) but if it is correct I think they are trying to do a Nintendo, i.e. the Wii is still selling strong and the DS is still selling despite the 3DS launch. They want a cheaper console in the 360 to still make money and cover more of the market which sounds good but I think has some severe pitfalls. Giving the one backwards compatibility would have encouraged more to purchase their new model plus not pressured everyone into such a huge financial leap.

No matter what price they open with I'm still going to sit back on this one for a while, It'll be some time before I invest in either/ or they seem to be gambling a lot on these and I think big changes to set up will be ade even after release as they gauge the reactions of consumers. Good call on Fall out 3 too, classic title!

Pickep up season 1 episode 1 free on Live arcade yesterday and it's inspired me to download the rest, Telltale has done a fantastic job! lets hope the second season lives up to expectation.

It's one of the better new Zombie maps but they have a system where if your downed you enter 'afterlife mode'. This means that you can go down at least once and revive your self which is cool, I just wish they would add anothet transit mode to their game, that is awesome!

I'm still giving COD zombies plenty of love, especially since Mob of the Dead was released, tommy guns plus the undead make for hours of fun. I'm also enjoying State of Decay on live arcade, its the open world zombie game I ve always wanted for my x box!

Ironically certain games have impacted on my art quite significantly, the most adventourous projects I ve ever are works taking up to 2000 hrs of work based on the Legend of Zelda series!

With you there dude! I'd understand more if everyone gave it an 8 but only because expectation can lead to some dangerous hopes which if dashed can result in extreme pig headedness, but if the overwhelming majority gave it a 9/10 or 10/10 I can't see why there would be upset. Any how I like reading how and why scores vary so I actively seek out those 'disagreements'
