It's a great game. The last time I played the arcade version was the summer of '99. I was kicking ass in that game. I bought the SAT port. I use to read GameFan and they warned people about the PS1 port. I bought the Japanese version w/ ram cart. I use to have to swap my import cart with the ram cart to get the game to work before I finally bought a 4-in-1 Action replay. Those were some good times. 
I must be awesome, because I play games and make babies. Though the babies do interupt the gaming playing quit a bit.
On of these days, I give Enslaved (360) another go. I tried playing it before and couldn't get into it. I'm currently wrapping up Fallout 3 (360) and I'm hoping to start up something on the PS3 next. I may start up Yakuza 3. Or start Ni no Kuni. Or I could play Heavenly Sword. I hear it's not a long game. I hadn't decided yet. I really want to start up with Mass Effect again, but I'm trying not to. It just keeps calling me. 
Good luck cutting back on games. I've been trying to do that for years. In the end, I just buy more games using less money.
I don't have too many things annoying me lately. The most recent annoyance is Fallout 3 crashing on me at the worse times. It happens more on the dlc parts than the main game.
A couple days ago, I saw it for about $12 and FFXIII2 was $17.99 or something like that. The price on XIII and XIII2 go up & down. At one time, 2 was less than 1. A few months back XIII2 was less than $15. If I wasn't such a cheap bastard, I'd have them already.
I thought about rebuying XIII and playing through it again a couple days ago. If the price ever drops under $10, I'll pick it up again.
I agree with pretty much everything you didn't like about it.

The Witcher 2 is a great game. I finished it a couple months ago. I want to play through it again, but I have some other games to get on first. I bought The Witcher (PC) not long ago. Hopefully I can get to it soon. I am excited to hear The Witcher 3 will release on a console. I'll probably preorder it, but I doubt I'll get a PS4 anytime soon.
I didn't realize Gravity Rush was that great a game. I'll have to put it on my list.
