I listen to Video Game music regularly. I really enjoyed the sound track to the New Fire Emblem and recently wrote about the music of Lightning Returns. The new Call of Juarez: Gun Slinger has some really good tracks, folk music of course. Maybe I'll put up the music post I did on here.

The XBOX ONE reveal and media features only served to make me feel old and scared. The system just seems overly complicated. For the first time I am considering leaving gaming as a hobby all together. I've convinced myself that there is a sea of old games to be enjoyed that I might have missed out on in the past even if old games have jaggie polygons and pixel art.

I own a WiiU and I'm fine with it. 

If I had to choose I'd go with PS4, but maybe 1 to 2 years after release. In the mean time, it's Final Fantasy Real Reborn and GT6 on PS3 for me. Have fun duking it out over who has better RAM or whatever kids, cause I ain't gettin involved. 

The cloud computing thing seems more like bullet points in a brochure. It was being discusses as an excuse for "always-on" design, but as things are panning out it's more likely that xbox one will have licensed software model like steam on PC, and the game you buy in store is nothing more than an install disc. MS is just afraid to admit it.

Now I understand why Project X Zone demo was released for Europe this week. We 'mericans have to wait a bit longer to try it out. That's a nice Xenoblade book. I usually look for exclusive toys from comic conventions. 

And don't forget that now is the time to buy good cheap used games before EA and Microsoft start rapin' e'rbody. Hide yo kids, hide yo wives e'rbody bein' raped up in here!

"All your gaming needs", except 360 games.

I'm really over visuals at this point. Wii had some good games for outdated hardware, and so did the Nintendo DS. I get upset if I don't see jaggies or polygons. Realism isn't that real anyway. This comes up a lot with the new Lara Croft game, like it looks real, but doesn't act real. I won't go into it. Part of the reasom my screen name is asrealasitgets. I want games to be games. Quit trying to make realistic creepy old dude faces with billions of polygons. Battlefield looks awesome though. So there are exceptions.

I thought the Capcom Dark Souls video was pretty awesome looking, but who knows if that's in game footage. I'm looking at you Aliens Colonial Marines and Dead Island promo videos!

I hate to admit it but part of the reason why I bought a 360 was to play Shadow Complex and Fez. I played the Gears and Halos of course, but Indie games were so cool. Now they've been taken to the curb and stomped.

Anyway, I'm not getting into a fanboy alley brawl with these kids.  Im enjoying the awesome year of the 3DS. I don't need transistors and cloud servers or whatever to enjoy a nice game of Animal Crossing or Donkey Kong.

Well I hadn't given too much thought to all the details about Xbox One, and I certainly haven't read or heard about any of the things you mentioned on your PB & Jason on any other sites, maybe a little of it, which makes me feel that most other games journalism sites or news sites are immature and juvenile. I did mention the cloud computing a bit in post on here. I'll be waiting for Part 2 of your article. 

As for MMOs, I play StarWars, Lord of the Rings and Star Trek off and on. I read good things about Never Winter so I might try that. 

Well you're probably supporting Microsoft either way, buying a PC or X1. You could swap out the X1 with a PS4.
