Glad you made the move to Florida okay,Ash! Just by describing Volva she sounds more deep and better thought out then a good majority of the new SoulCal characters. lol. Then again, I doubt most ppl get into Soul Cal for the story. I still need to get V and SoulCal 4 was great too!

I've been on Xbox live here or there but I wouldn't call that consistent. However, usually when I get a new game I stay planted for awhile. (Aka, it becomes much easier to get ahold of me)

I have faith in Shinjji Mikami. Even Shadows Of The Damned looks like a blast to play. I just haven't gotten around to picking it up just yet.
RE 4 still was scary in places despite its' shift to action. I'll probably follow Evil Within more closely now. It's definitely peaked my curiousity with its' more psychological & noir approach!

I remember the nes NGs had no "selected difficulty". Back in those days there was an unwritten rule most nes and sega master system games were extremely difficult. Every once in awhile we got something easier but that wasn't the norm.
By contrast today I can't handle something like the original Contra or Battle-Toads anymore. You might get me to play Dracula's curse but only on account I love games with gothic atmosphere. I also never got sour towards the original Mega-Man games. Something about them is addictive to this day!
Regardless, I'm going to play Razor's edge just for fun! I'm not trying to prove anything. lol.
Normally something like this isn't my cup of tea but with such a strong ensemble cast and a soundtrack which was handled with thought and care (By Jay Z no less) I might actually get enjoyment out of it!
