No worries, man  It's crazy some of the things that are out there now to play old games with, though I think the FC Twin is something of an old standby at this point. But the other day I was in Toys R Us looking for Christmas gifts for nieces and nephews and I saw this Genesis rip off with wireless controllers, 80 pre-installed games, and a cartridge slot. What really surprised me, though, is that the box said it was licensed by Sega! I don't see how that would make them any money but I can't help but wonder if the thing actually works well.

I got it for...the library. Hey, it was 2011, there were tons of great games lol. I really wanted to play Uncharted 2 though. That was probably at the top of my list.

Wow, that makes a lot of sense. I could totally see that happening. Like I've said before, I'm not feeling any game fatigue from the current generation but I didn't jump onto the HD console bandwagon till they were more than halfway through their life cycles anyway. We'll just have to wait and see how Nintendo plays it. They don't always seem to do the most logical things lol but this theory sounds plausible.

Wow, I'm surprised you don't actually have an SNES right now. That gets my vote!

Me too! It's actually from one of the (many) OCR albums I've never listened to all the way through: Essence of Lime.

Retro Magazine? Funding goal? This tickles some forgotten memory in the back of my mind.

I click on your blog, appreciate your art and humor, scroll down and see Snee's comment, and then look over and see the ad on the side of the page. It's for Brazil Butt Lift with a pic of some babe's hot tush. "Firm, lift, and shape your best bum bum." The irony of it all is just too much 

Days like that sure suck. I had one a couple of years ago that involved three flat tires while working in the Rocky Mountains. By the time I was able to head back down it was dark and I had to drive through one of the worst blizzards I've ever seen. More than a 20 hour work day, all in all. At least it didn't involve any police or sleeping in the cold like yours. Or dead cell phones. Or engine trouble. Or...man, you had a really bad weekend O_O

I'll admit it: I didn't read the whole thing. But I'm not really an activist for much of anything, let alone petty or imagined annoyances, so this really wasn't directed at me. Heck, I don't even own a pitchfork! I'd be the laughingstock of any roused rabble
