How would an Xbox LIVE app work on the Switch?
One thing I can say about that Bayonetta costume is that it was very good and convincing.

I never hung out at the Sony booth much anyway at E3. It was always too crowded. Speaking of E3, I did just register for a press pass for this year's show. We'll see if I get one like last year.
I'm only surprised it hasn't happened sooner. Thanks for reading!
I know what you're saying. I thought we might've had Mario valentines around the Mario 3 era, as I seem to remember one saying "I'm Toad-ally Yours" or something. But I think I might've just imagined that. At any rate, I would think we would've gotten Mario valentines sooner and more frequently.
i can't imagine Yakuza valentines, but if I could do it in the one Yakuza game I played, I'd give a valentine to that arcade lady, because she was neat-o!
On the Hallmark thing, here's what I think has happened. I think Nintendo has lowered their licensing fees on usage of their characters. That's why we're seeing more things like Mario cereal. So I think Hallmark jumped on that boat.
I dunno about Bayonetta. She seems kind of scary. Instead of me WANTING to give her a valetine, she seems like a woman who would MAKE me give her one. Plus she beats up angels. I can't approve of that.
Here's a random real life Bayonetta story. One time at E3 I was walking along and I heard a CLOMP CLOMP CLOMP right behind me! I turned around and it was a lady dressed as Bayonetta, and her gun shoes were making all that noise! You're not sneaking up on me today, Bayonetta! I will say that it was a very nice costume, if you know what I mean.
I guess it's called Chicken Pox because you are a chicken and collect eggs. It's like a fast paced version of connect the dots. Just read the review.
I think I passed on a review copy of this, too, because I had too many other things going on at the time. Oh well, can't play 'em all!
I'm glad there's somebody else besides me who likes Mario 2 more than 1 or 3. Don't get me wrong, SMB1 was great and an influental game. It just wasn't the game that made me want a NES (that was original Zelda). And Mario 3 is also great, but I just preferred the gameplay, controls, and level design of Mario 2. And looking at the history of Mario 2, turns out the original game was made by Miyamoto and features a lot of ideas he wanted to put in the next Mario game, and it was just happenstance that they changed it to be about a festival going on that time in Japan.
But I just can't get on the Zelda 2 bandwagon. Don't like it that much. Give me the original any day.
I kind of hem and haw about my favorite 2-D Mario game. Some days it's Super Mario World, some days it's Yoshi's Island.
Definitely Luigi's Mansion 3. I hope it's a return to form from the first game. I liked the second game, don't get me wrong, but I'd rather have one big mansion to explore rather than small mini mission based mansions.
Little disappointed about Metroid Prime 4. But hopefully we'll get a good game out of it whenever. it was rumored that Namco was working on it originally. Hope this doesn't cause any ill will from Namco and NIntendo.
This game makes me think of Mickey's Space Adventure for the Apple II. It was the first game I completed ever as a kid, and I felt such a sense of accomplishment from that. It's why I enjoy reviewing kids games now, too.
I didn't get into the Sierra point and click games, but I sure did enjoy the LucasFilm Games ones. My favorite was Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders.
I first remember reading about Tales games in NIntendo Power. They did an article about the first Tales game on the Super Famicom in Japan, and that was when I was really big into RPGs so I was mad it never came out over here. I did get the GBA port, I have to say it's not very good.
I do have all the PSOne Tales games. I enjoyed Symphonia a lot but I think I only liked it because I played it in two player mode with my brother Jeff. I don't remember if we beat it but we got pretty far.
Tales of Legendia is my favorite Tales game. I know, I'm weird. I just love the characters (especially Grune) and my favorite video game composer, Go Shiina, did the music. And it's wonderful. Way better than the usual Tales music.
I do have Abyss and Vesperia, but nothing about them sticks out to me. I know one character fought with a giant stuffed animal, and another was a purple dog. And there was someone named Judith I think.
After Tales of Graces I kind of fell off the Tales bandwagon. The games just got too long and meandering for me. I did get Zestiria for Christmas one year. i wanted it because I heard Go Shiinia did the music, but it turns out he only did a few songs.
One thing I like about the older Tales games is all the classic Namco references they had. A lot of enemies were from classic Namco games, some even had whole islands dedicated to Namco, and Tales of Destiny even had a 60 floor Tower of Druaga bonus dungeon.
