Yeah, just heard the news recently..... now I want a Wii U so badly.

I aprove of Garbage "raises digital thumb up".
Yeah, they should stop focusing too much on Metacritic. I think it's good to search reviews from various sources, but it's just an score counting site and not the ultimate source to know if a game is good or not. Like I said, the best criteria is that you had played the game and form your own opinion. That said, it's better to stay away from most user reviews from that site.....
I'll just say an statement that i've been repeating ever since the Xbox One was announced: "Look at the bright side, atleast Microsoft made me consider getting a Wii U"
I still hold to that...... even if I haven't bought one....
I still haven't watched the video, but I'll do it soon.
I think why I keep gaming to this day is because while movies and tv make you see and experience emotions and books make you release your imagination, games allow you to interact with an eviroment and have a sense of interaction. That, and they are just damm fun. As simple as that.
Off topic: are you following Doug's Avatar vlogs?
Minus the swears, I really agree with what you had said here. It really is underwhelming that there's those kinds of people that can't respect an opinion and think any game over the 70 or 80 score of Metacritic deserves to be an untouchable holy grail. Sure, I may disagree with some reviews (like Gametrailer's one for Sonic Colors), but in the end, it's all opinions, which you can take or leave and it all depends on what's being said and most importantly, that you actually had played the game and you had created your own criteria.
Hope I explained myself very well.
Glad to see you again.
Now you intrigued me to try The Swapper. I'll try to look videos about it and see if it catches my interest. Then again, I really liked Braid (despite some of the hate it sometimes has), so I guess I shouldn't have any problem with it.
Damm, i'm a bit jealous of you going to a convention like that. I had never been to one, although there are some at my city, I always know about them when it's too late to go.
Anyway, that was a very nice story of your animation classes. I'm really glad you got to met a person that worked in the industry.
Nice you met one of the voices for MLP.
I just laughed at the fact that in the first Castle Crashers picture, there's a guy wearing a Deadmau5 mask in the middle of them.
I hope to get Skyrim and the first Phoenix Wright game sometime. The former, because every info I know has caught my attention and the latter because it looks a lot of fun.
Also, now that you have a Wii U, what do you think of it so far?
