This was my third time playing the game and yeah, I still really enjoyed it. I'm not a fan of the remixed tunes. I feel like they sound different just for the sake of being different. Other than that though, it is a fine remaster. I was hoping to get all the aeons and other optional stuff this time, but the optional bosses in this International Edition make the game way harder.

So basically, you don't mention that single moment at the end that wasn't already spoiled by the trailers :P
I really enjoyed playing this. I put in 18 hours total and got all the trophies. I also didn't like Sutherland as Snake. Not so much that he didn't fit the character, but just because all I could hear was Jack Bauer.
I bought Tokyo Jungle, Monkey Island, Retro City Rampage, and Echochrome ii. I found out after downloading Echochrome that it's PS Move only. I do have a friend with Move, but even if I can't borrow it... well, it was only a dollar! I'd buy more, but I don't want my PSN account to turn into my unused Steam library.
From what I've read, the "story mode" is basically just commentary that plays over multiplayer matches. That's about as lazy as a story mode can get. Somehow, I'm not surprised the developers seemed to try to spin that into something that sounds new and interesting.
I for one have a hard time seeing myself being attached to a game franchise without them even trying at single-player story. I can see this game being very unfriendly to new players as well because there's no single player to pratice on (at least to my knowledge).
Silent Cartographer is such a great level. I don't think the series has been able to make a level to match that one since.
I was going to mention Pokemon Snap, but I see everyone else beat me to the punch. But yeah, Bravely Default is one game that has greatly disappointed me and considering the amount of time I put into that, it stings big time.
Don't worry, I'll take good care of your gaming collection while your gone!
I know what you mean, there's so much stuff coming out. I don't know why some of these didn't come out last fall where there weren't any games to catch my interest.
I plan on buying all three of those March 18 games. Yaiba is going to have to wait though. FFX HD is like 100 hours of content and I don't see the point in buying anything else while I'm playing that. The only reason I'm getting Ground Zeroes is because it's apparently pretty short and I can get through it quickly.
Honestly, now that I've made it a bit further you might want to reconsider dedicating your time to Bravely Default. Without spoiling anything, the game basically makes you repeat the same content over and over again. I loved it for the first run through, but now it just feels like it's wasting my time.
