Big fan of both Barker and King. My first Barker novel was Cabal.

I'm currently reading SK's Under The Dome which so far as very little to do with the TV series other than the names of the characters and the titular dome. Still it's probably closer to the novel than Haven is to The Colorado Kid.

You should be proud of Columbia. I'm rooting for them too.

England (the land of my birth) got kicked out early which didn't really surprise me. US is out (was hoping they'd go further) and Canada (my adopted home) couldn't even field a team which is pathetic.

It all depends what you want to spend on a 'table and whether you have an amplifier with a phono preamp in it.

Conventional turntables are low output, so plugging one into a CD input won't work. Newer USB 'tables will plug into a computer but generally those would be for ripping vinyl to MP3 rather than listening to music. I imagine you can do it but I can't vouch for the noise that comes out. LOL

I wound up taking my listing off Amazon because my son started playing it last week.

Not sure exactly but I don't really use my 360 anymore so I've got over 50 games sitting around collecting dust. I have lots of digital content for it too so I won't ditch the system for a while.

I want to try Shovel Knight. I might get it on 3DS

Yep I got myself the xbox controller.

It's cool for the games it works with. Unfortunately there are some like Soul Reaver and Omikron which you think would work but don't .That is of course unless you like your character to move while you aren't touching the gamepad.

The other problem is that my son is monopolizing the gamepad right now. I might have to get another one.

I think I might start Ayesha soon. I want to see if I get sucked in again like I did with the first PS2 game. I bought Escha and Logy digitally so I'm hoping the first game in the trilogy clicks
