Let me know if there's anything in FFXV you think I would iike.
So HAL Laboratory, makers of Kirby and Smash Bros., just released their first mobile game in the US. It's called Part Time UFO. Check it out if you're interested.

I never heard of Strategy X. But that was one neat thing about Game Room is that Konami especially put some of their more obscure game titles on there. One of my favorites was Kit N Kaboodle, a block pushing maze game.
It's a shame that Game Room didn't get more support, and that the company who did it didn't go out of business. I would've loved it if Namco jumped on board. But my main problem with Game Room is that it was such a memory hog. I had to eventually take it off my hard drive. I should've sprung for the Elite model 360, but back when I got the 360 in 2007, who knew how big digital games and DLC would take off?
David Crane told me some funny stories about A Boy and His Blob. I have that game on the NES and the remake on the Wii. Both are good games. And yeah Freeway is best as a two player game. Same with Fishing Derby.
Did you know that Freeway was programmed by David Crane, who also did Pitfall? I think he did the tennis game, too. I've met David Crane in person twice! Once at E3 and once at the National Videogame Museum when I volunteered there.
I like the somewhat realistic car honking noises in Freeway. Also, is the Laser Blast commercial the one where the kid says over-excitedly, "What other space games?'
Aw man, you can't play arcade games in the new Yakuza game? I hope the arcade lady found another job.
SMASH!
(sorry)
I hope you get a chance to play Okami someday. it was my Game of the Year for 2006.
I'm looking forward to Octopath Traveler, too. I just hope they don't bog it down with stuff and I have enough time to play it!
20 bucks isn't too bad for the Splatoon content, as long as it's a lot of it. Honestly I'd rather they just make an extra game called "Splatoon Adventures" or something that's just a single player game and plays a lot like Ratchet and Clank or something.
I'm not too big on tennis video games, because most seem like just glorfied Pong clones to me. So I may skip out on Mario Tennis. Really the only tennis video game I got somewhat into was SEGA Superstars Tennis. Ulala was in that one.
The voices in Wizard of Wor are hilarious. Defender and its sequel are super hard! I have never seen Satan's Hollow in an arcade, but I imagine it would be pretty hard to find around the Bible Belt.
Power outages suck, don't they? But we should be thankful we live in a country where power outages are fixed rather quickly for the most part.
I think my favorite character in Odin Sphere is the Valkyrie lady.
What gets me is very close members of my family are starting to get on the video game violence bandwagon, and usually I agree with my family politically, but not this time.
Yeah I don't think ramen noodles are very healthy.
Thanks for reading my reviews and commenting!
The neat thing about Stampede is that it looks simple when you first play it, but there are a few strategies you can use to boost your high score. Like you can predict when the black bull will come by I think how many skulls you pass. My favorite Atari 2600 game is still Pressure Cooker. You should play that one sometime, but make sure to read the instructions first. It's one of the more complicated 2600 games out there.
I remember that Stampede TV commercial as a kid. I'm glad it's also on the Activision Anthology. "Aw, Ma!"
I loved watching Clash of the Titans when I was a kid.
