Sarkeesian The Damsel?

That's what makes me draw a blank,Kev. I understand Anita might feel negative pressure from trolls but that should not dissuade her from gving others the chance to praise & critique her.

Btw, can you read my "whole blog"? I'm seeing it run into the cluttered info on the side!

I'm pretty content with the SOR Remake. I don't know why Sega chose to go after Bomber games legally instead of hiring them. I would have done the later!

I agree a beat em up needs a bit more layering these days though. One of the reasons I enjoy Castle-Crashers & Scott Pilgrim so much is the rpg-esque leveling up systems and the easter-eggs hidden throughout!

Tomb Raider Review

I want this new Tombraider something fierce! Probably because Lara really is "human" this time around. I like the show of vulnerability because let's be honest with ourselves, none of us would handle being shipwrecked on an island with poise, grace, and complete badassery. Seeing Lara grow from a frightened young archeologist into an independent resourceful heroine seems worth the trip to me. I also like how they kept the cover system fluid and simplistic.

Genghis Khan NES,the game that hooked me on KOEI

I believe I played the first Kessen way back in the day. Didn't know about Ganghis Kahn. Thanks for dropping the knowledge!

This generation I absolutely "loved" Dynasty Warriors 7 and Warriors Of Orochi 3. Tecmo/Koei really did up the ante for me!

Parasite Eve

Well, it's kind of cool Madonna took interest in Parasite Eve. lol. I don't know about her chops as a director/screen writer though. The game itself is actually based on books & movies in Japan so that's probably why she couldn't do anything with it. (Aka, legal copyright issues. Even if she bought movie rights perhaps there was a disagreement with the original creator?)

Shovel Knight?

Wow, looks like "Duck Tales" mixed with Wizards & warriors as well as Zelda 2: Adventures of Link! Hoping they meet their goal.

Darkstalkers Week: Darkstalkers 1 and 2 For Zombies (Part 2)

I remember when Donovan was one of my favorite characters but then later I kind of saw him as a "judgemental fanatical asshole" for going after the other characters to slay them. From that point on I was more fond of Jon Talbain. (Who embraced what he was but still found a semblence of humanity in spite being a werewolf)

To this day I don't know what side Morrigan was on. At times I assume she's "evil" but she's never done anything more heinous than the typically vapid party girl. For some reason she always reminded me of "Paris Hilton with supernatural powers". lol. (Aka, always shirking responsibility and she constantly leaves Aensland castle just to have fun)

However, I think both Donovan and Morrigan were better fleshed out in the comics and spin offs. I distinctly remember the animated Dark-Stalkers movie suggested Donovan only went after "evil non-humans" and even Morrigan fought Pyron when he was trying to destroy the whole planet. (Of course it could have been just because if that occured she wouldn't have any souls to feed on)

Parasite Eve

Glad someone else acknowledged Parasite Eve. It really is a great game! I probably even preferred it marginally over FF7 because between the two of them I thought PE had the better storyline and characters.

A Sad Gaming Moment for Me *SPOILER ALERT*

I got attached to Nei in Phantasy Star 2. Her death totally took me by surprise. It sucked because I sort of had an immature geek crush on her at the time.

When it comes to "rebounding" after break ups I suck. Both times I lost exes it took me a couple of years to recover. After that I was pretty numb and eventually began to appreciate single life! (And it's weird how a stigma is placed on "being single" as if it's abnormal or the worst thing in the world to be.)

I definitely can relate to "Somebody I used to know" but I'm glad I've moved on from the majority of the grief I used to feel.
