Edf 2025,Vampires,and taking the brain out of rpgs!

Sacred Gold is great,Peter. It's also "huge" so uh,just warning you. lol. I honestly prefer Sacred Gold just a bit over Sacred 2 but everyone is allowed to have their own preference.

Bloodlines is indeed really good (Especially if you update it with the patches from planet vampire) so keep it in mind!

Personally I think EDF 2025 would do very well on steam,Alejandro. Hopefully Sandlot and D3 will finally realize that at some point.

I could see myself getting into Destiny. It sort of comes off as Borderlands with a better laid out story. (Though I loved the first Borderlands despite it's rather barebones plot) I still cannot fathom why I did not get as much into Bordelands 2 (Being that it improved just about everything across the board) but there's always time for second chances! Recently I've been playing EDF 2025 and lovin it!

Still interested in Guacamelee myself! If you think about it it's not only a homage to Metroid but also a homage to Splatterhouse. (As in the hero comes back from the dead with the help of a sentient mask)

Wing divers are my favorite too,Cary. My only point of contention with them is they have to recharge constantly but then again I also think it was a good idea for every class to have their personal limitations too. It makes it just a little bit of a tactical game amidst the more bombastic moments of simply leveling buildings and blowing bugs away. Personally I also prefer the cheesiness of the game and I'm glad it did not try to be too serious or too melodramatic.

Sacred 1 & 2 were only like Diablo in so far as combat and loot. The first two Sacred games did actually have quests with varied outcomes and there were times you had to make choices. Both games also had very customizable character class building options and the inclusions of mounts was neat. In Sacred Gold I believe you could only use horses but in Sacred 2 every class had a special unique mount. By comparison Sacred 3 is sort of like Gauntlet Legends with okay graphics. They really did simplify it to the point of overkill.

EDF 2025 is a great stress reliever,Andrew! I'm tempted to use the word "mindless fun" but I have found the game does force you to use strategy during certain missions and each of the 4 classes bring something special to the table. The only negatives are a bit of slow down sometimes and that spiders can hit you with webbing even through buildings. It's possible to get out of webbing but pinpointing which spider is hitting you from where is not always as simple as it seems. The game is enjoyable enough going through it alone but it's far more rewarding when co-oping with friends or family.

FF6 really is a beau. It's simply packed with so much content (From hidden characters to a very long and epic story line). That and I felt as every character had diversified "special attacks" that all had unique gameplay mechanics behind them. (Sabin literally "plays" like a fighting game character,Edgar is a steampunk gadgeteer,Setzer pulls off wild shit by lining up various icons on a lucky slots machine, and Cyan has sword moves that would make an honorable samurai jealous)  There are even fun stealth sections with the thief character Locke!

I'm tempted to also recommend P2:Innocent sin but sadly it has a whole other part to its' story that hasn't been localized yet. In that regard at least P1 has a nice and clean self contained story.

Ah,reading ASOIAF,aye? You remind me I have to catch up. lol. I was on only the second or third book. I hope good ol George doesn't croak before he finishes his epic tale! I'll bring him back to life just to kill him again for having that kind of gall. lol. (I cannot stand cliff-hangers)
