You can download Jed's new CD through CD Baby, too, and I think he gets a bigger cut of the money from them than he does iTunes.

Travis, I'm really lucky. Most of the concerts I go to are house concerts like that. And they're usually cheap, averaging around $15. And it's fun taking my gramma.

I have no idea what games are in that Play Choice cabinet, as I haven't actually seen it in person yet.

Hotel Dusk may be my favorite DS game of all time, and that's saying a lot for me because I'm such a DQ junkie. I have that import sequel, too, it's called Last Window. I ahven't played it yet, though.

I haven't given my PS2 up, lol. I still have every console I ever bought and the games to go woth them.

I told my gramma that half the joy of getting a gift card is how many times you can spend it in your head, lol.

As for the bulk of your blog: Japenese culture is sexist. It's better than it was, but it's still an issue. As for the rest, you know pretty much where I stand on most of it already. There are problems in the gaming industry, but a lot of it is just growing pains and will eventually sort itself out. I say this as a woman working in a male-dominated field. It starts out pretty rough, but once enough women get their feet in the door, the changes that need to happen will. The place where I notice it most is the themes and wallpaper for the 360 and PS3. There are tons of provocative images of woman and few to none of men.  I don't know as I'd really want beefcake as the backdrop of my dashboard, but it would be nice to have the option when guys have all the scantily-clad chicks they could ask for. And yes, we do objectify men.

I hate getting incomplete games, too. It's even more frustrating when it's because you have to replace a complete game that you made the mistake of loaning out to someone and you never get it back, which is what happened with my copy of BG&E. As for systems - The only system that has crapped out on me has been a PS1. It was a third-hand hand-me-down that was bought at launch and it lasted until 2005.

Reminds me more of Ico than TWEWY. Looks like something I'd definitely play.
