I remember staying up late as a kid (maybe 12) to watch the Spawn cartoon on late night Cartoon Network (perhaps?). It scared the shit out of me but something about the character is so cool. I would actually like to pick up a Spawn trade thinking on it. Any recommendations?

For non super hero comics, I really enjoy American Vampire (makes vampires cool again), The Manhatten Projects, Fatale and Scott Pilgrim (my fave obviously). Cost wise, I find Amazon to be the best for trades if you were gonna go that way
