If only Destiny had Crab People.........
Yeah I ve been well quite on the 'online front', though I'm planning on making my presence known in a..... well polite and respectful manner. I ve got counterstrike on X box live at the mo but if you ever find yourself venturing there just let me know, we can slop gloves across each other faces and about turn for ten paces!
Half life, Goldeneye and Timesplitters all did good things for me, thats why I still enjoy a little Counter strike, back to the good old days!
Wow brothers for the number one spot eh, I think I'll have to give it a try. GTA 5 had an instant click with me but something that was lost after I bought the car I wanted, though if Rockstar ever get around to adding a zombies mode I'd be in love again!
I ve just pre-ordered....... and had to pay a whopping $110 Aus!!!!! still I have faith that it will totally be worth it.
I would probably say a Vita GH but as I ve had my PSP for ages I just don't feel I need to make the leap just yet, though if I were without either I would put my money aside until Vita was viable. That said if you get a PSP you'll still have a whale of a time, especially if you plan on playing the classics, though I do feel that the PS1 games for sale are not always the best, thats why I'll never chuck my PS2, backwards compatibility at its best!
That sucks dude but you gotta do what you gotta do. I like disagreement in a well responded way and you do that well so it will be a shame to see you leave.
They can't even get the re-release right. My 3DS is two years old now and they have not released any snes games as of yet. I love my nes adventures but seriously theres a reason games of that age don't hold your attention for long so why focus solely on them and original GB games...... doesn't make any sense to me. The 2DS looks interesting, I think it's much more for securing the market rather than invest in something new, I just hope by marketing to seven year olds their games market doesn't go the way of the wii and loads of crap is released.
Fair play to her, she is certainly proactive when it comes to making changes which is the kind of action an industry like this needs. She did mention something that I hadn't really thought about until now which is genre and it's ability to be covered by something else. What I mean by that is if a first person shooter is developed and the story isn't that great but the design/ gameplay mechanics etc are amazing, the lack of story, whilst a minus point, doesn't impact too much on the experience. Males focused games seem much easier to cut corners with because we are pleased pretty easily. Games that have rich and detailed stories walk a dangerous line and must be done well.... and to do that you need great writers, actors and the like. It appears that a major obsticle in decent lady focused games (at least for genres such as romance) is that off the bat it quite possibly needs a lot of financial commitment and parting bigwigs with their money is never easy. It's great to see that she's having a real go at developing the user base though, good luck to her!
