I rented Casablanca once but didn't really catch the whole thing. It may end up being another citizen kane for me, where i greatly appreciate but don't really like the movie. The best movie i saw in a Freshman film history class was Ruggles of Red Gap.

My parents watch bagger Vance quite a bit and i like that one too.

And don't worry, i understand why you as an original fan don't enjoy the reboots. This one seems closer to the original series to me, but I'll let you be the judge should you ever see it.

Maybe I'll bake a cake and feed half of it to a stray cat whose name I decide is Ignis the Magnanimous. 

My mom knits stuff like Pokemon, Minions, etc. figures to give to her students. I'm gonna tell her she should consider making some of these. 

I don't know what games I've played I'd be into the lore enough to buy books for, but it's cool that stuff like this exists. 

I read a couple EU Star Wars books as a kid, but I don't remember them well. 

Well, you can always watch the second half of Full Metal Jacket if you need a pick-me-up.

Honestly, I think 3 was the hardest one of the initial trilogy by far. I could beat all 8 bosses in 1 and 2, but I had difficulty just getting past a stage or two in 3. 

Never heard this one before. I dig it. So relaxing. 

Are most of the songs you post going to be of the classic rock variety? Cause I'd be good with that. 

At least they try to adjust for that with the draft system, but yeah people are tired of seeing Tom Brady. I don't know why, but they're not even fun to hate. I'm happy for rangergirl and my roommate, but at the same time, I just want a Cowboys/Steelers rematch. Heck, much as I don't like them, seeing an Eagles team with a shot at winning it all would at least break up the monotony. I want to see the Packers get to 5 though. I was hoping it'd be them on the NFC side this year after the Cowboys loss. 

What hurts is the Falcons started out so dominant, then got nailed. 

The Half Time show was actually the second-most watched in history though (behind Katy Perry), so there's a ratings silver lining there. 

My digital antenna has the same love/hate relationship with FOX and I have to move it constantly throughout games. The only other channel I get is ABC (KTRE) because Nacogdoches just does not have great broadcast reception. 

I'm sad you didn't get to see your team's awesome comeback. Even for someone rooting against them, it was exciting. Congratulations, you now join the Steelers, 49ers, and Cowboys in the 5+ club. 

I liked that one too, though I'm sure there are now several message boards debating why the wage gap exists. I definitely liked the general girl power message though. 

And I don't think people claiming the Budweiser ad was political get how long cinematic ads like that take to produce. I heavily doubt they rushed that out as a response to a specific, recent executive order. Sometimes it pains me how much people buy into the "media is an easy industry where you do no work" mentality. If you're passionate maybe, but I'd love to throw some of these people into an 18-hour day production and see if they feel the same.
