I dunno, whatever it was, it was cheap, and definitely sub-gameboy resolution.

It's been on-again-off-again for me this afternoon. Glad I got my blogs archived already!
You hit my big gripe with RPGs right there. The other one I hate is timed sections, especially when the clock doesn't stop when a random encounter starts.
My three least favorite recent mini-game segments are a sneaking section in Ni No Kuni, a two-stick race over a narrow path in Ni No Kuni, and that horrible boss battle with the lasers in Blue Dragon.
Ser, the person who made that post was having a rough day and it wasn't pointed at you. A long time member of that group left because they felt like the group was being taken over. That, and the original poster's mother is dying, so she was just in a bad frame of mind.
BaD started out as a challenge between two 1uppers, Gabe and Alice, and they invited the rest of us along and it kind of avalanched from there. Neither Gabe nor Alice mind if we carry the name over, both posted in that discussion that they're kind of flattered that BaD will continue on. So unruffle your feathers, please.
Nice find, by the way! My grandmother once found an LCD game with about 50 different games on it that she bought to have around for my younger cousins to play with when they were over.
No, let's play Global Thermo-nuclear War.
Hi Christopher. Good to see you here.
If I could find my map, I'd scan it for you. But once you start mapping it on paper, it makes a lot more sense.
I was in the next DC Metro train behind the one that someone stepped in front of to off themselves, glad I wasn't in the first one! And toilet adventures are never fun, the stories I could tell... Sorry you had a crappy (sorry, couldn't help myself there!) vacation.
I love Skies of Arcadia Legends! The airship battles are my favorite combat of any game. They happen to be pretty realistic in terms of how old sailing warships had to do battle. Enjoy!
I have to admit not liking the original. The camera movement made me incredibly nauseous and all I could think about when I looked at Lara was "why don't her boobs give her a black eye when she runs?" and "I didn't know they made sports bras in that size!"
That said, I'm looking forward to the upcoming game, although I'm going to have to wait to buy it until I have some money coming in again.
Must find this and play it. I don't mind simplistic gameplay, especially of it helps move the story along. My favorite games have all been extremely story-driven, so this one sounds like a must-have for me. Hopefully, my mother and grandmother will continue their recent tradition of giving me either an Amazon giftcard or a GameStop gift card for my upcoming birthday and I can take care of this oversight.
