I can see people getting distracted by the giant screen.

I haven't played much of the other modes in The Show, but in Road to the Show, you create a character, get drafted, and the game fast forwards to you either batting, or a ball is hit to you if you are a position player. At the end of games you earn points that can be used to upgrade your player.

The presentation is I think the MLB Network talking heads, one of them Matt Vasgersian used to be one of the talking heads for the Padres. 

The locker room is cool, if itsn't too much trouble. It's fitting that Jerry World is filled with advertisements from the tons of sponsors the team has. 

I was terrible at the pariscope games. I used to end up looking at the screen...and still had problems.

I never played Bubble Bobble. I think that was one of those games I used to see everywhere on Playstation, never bought, but then became a hard game to find when I wanted to give it a try. The little dragons do look familar though from Bust A Move.

I just updated it yesterday so it should be up to date (I probably missed an Android game here and there). 

I figured JerryWorld was big enough to host both because basketball usually takes up one side of a stadium...unless they're going to play the game under the giant HD Screens, which means folks who bought tickets were paying to watch the game on TV. I thought the timetable was a little iffy especially with the movie being released soon, but you got me. The details seemed legit because I had some friends be extras and they said some similar things. Well played, on the April Fools Prank! 

I saw that Pokemon thing on Google Maps but I didn't try it. I blame MLB The Show for taking up the free time. 

Oh nice. If you have it, I've always wondered what the view is from the players tunnel through that bar they walk through to go to the field. 

I like reading these stories of how people first got their consoles. We came from different places yet encountered almost similar events. I bought quite a few of those 3rd party adaptors especially when I bought a Playstation. For a bit I used to play NES on a little black and white TV, which made it almost look like a Giant Game Boy. 

I like these collections because for someone like myself who never had an Atari, it's a chance to give these games a try. I can't remember if I have one of these comps for the X-Box, but I have the one for PS2, and I bought the mega pack awhile ago on iPad. 

That Crossing Lines show sounds interesting. I might have to check it out.

Yeah Ranger stuff! Its funny to hear someone's job related to being outdoors, yet they have to fill out paperwork. Dang that paperwork, and new policies! The deer remains sound interesting. 

I wanted the GBA stuff on the 3DS as well. I mean the games are for portables why not have them on your handheld? This would have been my way of trying out some of these games I missed.
