I see. Well, if I'm freed up enough I'd love to keep doing the podcast as well as the tabletop (might also invite Steve from my part time work), but it all depends on how these 90+ students treat me (30 to a class).
If you mean playing your old PS3 games on your PS4, I don't believe it works that way. All the "emulation" on PS4 is didgital, so you'd either have to boot up PS3 or get a PS Now subscription as far as I know. Bummer too, cause there's so much on PS3 I want to play with a PS4 controller.
I played Borderlands: Handsome Collection the other day with a friend and if you want to play that one online, I am JimBeamHortonWho on PSN (also on Steam). I can't find your AlwithWarpDrive on PSN from my laptop. Hopefully, one of us can find the other.
If only I had a Wii U. Possibly soon depending on how many 18 year olds the university ends up letting me corrupt (meaning how many courses I teach).
I have a lot of the same goals. I feel like I'm going back to life after about 6 months of working part time or basically being on vacation after getting my Master's. I finally got to a gym last night and am going again today. It feels good to be getting back into it, but man have I lost strength and gained weight over my "extended holiday." I have some anxiety stuff too, but with the pyroxetene it should be held in check hopefully. Definitely hear you on more reading and less clutter as well.

I've always wanted to play a full season or do the coach thing in a sports game. There has to be some good deals out there on the old ones I can get for PS4. Is there an NCAA series for basketball? I'd love to take the Lumberjacks to the championship. It'll be fun going to their games again once I'm moved into Nac next week. Hopefully I'll have time between teaching, grading, office hours, etc.
Knack looks like it has middling reviews on metacritic, but if I see a deal on it I will take your word since I really wish non-Nintendo consoles had more 3D platformers.
I dig both the songs you say are your favorite. Had to look up The Donnas, since I was only able to sing "Shake it OFF" in my head when I saw the title. Then I watched the video on YouTube and was like "oh I remember that from jr. high!" I may have to get the GH Greatest Hits as well. Man, you're talking me into some spending I swore I wouldn't get into here. Stop that. lol
I tried the DOA demo for PS4, but while I loved pressing R2 to attack (I dunno why, but I love PS4 trigger buttons), it just felt barren to me. Maybe the full version is better, but I'm not paying to find out.
I actually played the Pre-Sequel on Handsome Collection co-op on PS4 with my buddy the other night. We were kinda bummed there was no competitive multi. It honestly just felt like a more confusing first player game with half a screen to me. I was also kinda miffed it only had Pre-Sequel and 2, cause I thought it also had 1. Oh well, still $24 for two games. Not bad at all.
I played a demo of Terraway at GameStop a year or so ago and a demo of the new one on PS4 and the touch controls just don't jive with me. It is a really cool art style though. Wasn't a fan of how PS4 game kept telling me I could use my smart phone for things. Just let me play the game and stop reminding me how old my phone is!
How many fighting game victories aren't cheap though? I mean, let's be real. 
That cross-pollination thing sounds like it'd piss me off too. I guess they're trying to increase readership for their lesser selling comics/getting more subs to all their different ones, but maybe a better way would be to just have cameos. I like knowing I'm getting a continuation of the story I want to read, which is why I tend to buy graphic novels as opposed to loosies.
Lobster Johnson is such a funny name, but it looks like a cool comic.
I may actually subscribe to a comic series of some sort, but I don't know what yet. I kinda want to go back and read Ultimate Spider-Man, since what I saw of it when the original Spidey flick came out had me interested way back when.

Splatoon is the best-looing art style of last year as well I think. I've only played Forever Alone out of these and it was good. The videos of Alaska were beautiful.
Yet to play it, only played BL once it was 2 and at a charity event. Only played maybe a level or two. Downloaded the collection today, hoping to get my buddy on some two player.
