Fighting "phantom Nicole" and "The Marker" is not so bad. It's just getting there that's the hassle! That and you have to do one more difficult qte before the boss battle but luckily there's a check point right before it.
As for Birth By Sleep? I love it! It has flaws (like empty environments) but I find the gameplay and story telling to be very good. (If not a bit resemblant of Star Wars)
Sorry about your job,mate. But it seems as if they were taking you for granted so yeah,this might be a blessing in disguise! Exercise is always a good idea! As for pot? Eh, I don't think it's that bad to smoke the occasional bowel recreationally but I guess anything taken to excess can slow you down. Cutting back on it will save you money and clear your mind more at any rate!

Well, Matt's a good writer so I'm not surprised his blog was in the "featured" column when the great exodus began. lol.
But in a way it might have been a good thing. 1up seemed to be gradually becoming more "politically correct" and less about the games and more about pseudo intellectual nonsense. Not in the blogging community but most of you probably understand what I'm getting at. In the end I'm glad 1up did not live long enough just to become another Polygon or Kotaku. (Both which have good articles once in a blue moon yet both of which put out troll bait and flame bait far more often just to get those hits.)
Dead Space 2 has a sporadic difficulty,ceva. I felt as if the first game had a more graceful curb that gradually ramped up the tension while still being fair. Still, it's not "unwinnable" just kind of hair pulling in parts.

Glad you're improving on the piano,Blake. Gears of war 2 was really fun. Don't know why I've procrastinated getting GOW3. Probably because I'm just a bit burnt out on 3rd person shooters at the moment. lol. Ah,it'll pass.
Ah don't fret, transmet! I was not offended in the least bit! Just wanted to give my perspective on it! And you're right,we're seeing a lot of big names using kick-starter to create their own awesome games without all that asinine publisher red-tape. It's rather inspiring though obviously not every creation will be a platinum hit.
