I think their hardware sales numbers are pretty bad. They have to expand their audience. I don't have an xboxone for example, and I would love to play xb games on pc. It's really dumb. I only bought a PS4 for Bloodborne, and Arkahman Knight because the PC port was horendous for bats. For 3rd party I usually go PC. Not much interest for consoles this gen, aside from a handful of games and whatever works like shit on PC for whatever reason, but thats rare. 

I dont like how everything is moving so fast actually. I dont have a 4K TV, and I'm lukewarm on VR, so I don't see why I should upgrade right now at all. I would much rather have had a proper Rogue Squadron Game or Arkam game instead of a VR demo. I hope it doesn't end up another gimick like motion controls.

It is like a grindy brawler. Its okay to take breaks from it. Just jump in I say. As long as you get throught the first tut explaining the item management, seeds, potion mixing. The tutes are the slowest part of a fast game.

I think at this point, they cant compete with PC, so they're like fuck it! Here! Play xbox games since you wont buy our console. 

MS was headed in this direction before they gutted the digital-only-always-on plan after the outrage before XBOXOne debuted. Remember?

I don't own an Xbox, so I wasn't interested in their presentation at all. I'm not being snobbish, but I cant play the games they announce unless they come to PC and with rumors of a redesign, upgrade, pc cross-buy, I less and less inclined to purchase one. 

Anyhow, I did like seeing Scalebound, Gears of War 4, Dead Rising 4 and State of Decay 2 from them.  
I'm probably more excited about Sony, God of War 4 looks great, Resident Evil 7 OMG!!! Its happening! Weird ass Kojima game? Dafuq? That new zombie game thats not Last of Us.  The Android cop story game. I'm not to sold on VR yet. 50 VR games this year sounds impossible and they didn't really show them off here? 

Well it looks like I need to convert  to highten the hilarity of Preacher, although I laughed quite a few times, a bit more than I would care to admit (The opening little church part.). Might highten the hilarity of Mel Gibsons sequel to Passion of the Christ, although I prefer XMen The Phoenix Saga rebirth interpretation. 
 
Anyhow, I will go to my library and order these books you are talking about, since we seem to enjoy  darkness. I'll tell the librarian blake sent me in whispered voice and then direct her to place devilish content in brown paper bag. My area is very jesusy. 

I didn't know they re-released original GoW on PSVita? I always like the PSP games, but got sour on the series after 3. It seems like a right time to revisit I suppose. I want to check out that book you recommended. I still go to the public library since I can't always find something on Kindle or think its too pricey. Im mostly reading WWI history books just because. Witcher took a huge chunk of my gaming time when it released, I almost feel reluctant to jump in immediately. It looks great though. I just heard a podcast where they were talking about Witcher 3 and exploring caves n such with giant trolls and it still has surprises post game. Quite a wonderful game. 

The card game was so good! I hope they release a stand alone digital version.

I also saw Preacher pilot and it was pretty good. I honestly wasn't sure what to make of it all as I'm not familiar with the comics, so I wasn't expecting the dark humor to be that dark. Disemboweled Irish dude and Butt face and all the stuff about daddy beating mommy. Tulip is a refreshing character. I can't say I've seen anyone like her on tv before. She had a great intro honestly. I still like Outcast, although it is much more grounded and slow, but it's wonderfully moody. They are different, but I liked them both. I'll have to watch more episodes of each to decide. Is Preacher going to maintain the action and craziness of the pilot throught the whole season? Sounds difficult.  

I had been following the community push it received to get made. That's why it was so fan servicy, the fans bugged the hell out of the studio and Ryan Reynolds got involved too. It will be awesome to see them add more X-men and make them like the comics. 

I typically mention whatever controversy in a review/criticism but I usually just take into account the base game. Foxem avoided the controversy all together and referred to seperate articles for that and just focused on the core mechanics of the game, which is fine. But I still feel that those types of controversies are avoided to suppress vitriol from commenters which is just plain wrong. Bigger sites like IGN are the worst, while smaller sites like AV Club have more civilized communities. I cannot really speak about Fates since I've yet to play it. I was only aware of the petting controversy and not bad localization. People dont usually want articles changed or altered, that usually affects review scores, but I for one tend to be more cautious when I criticize something because of assholes. I once suggested that Kingdom Hearts needed to stop repeating itself with claustrophobic level design and complicated combat moves and just focus on making the games fun. Of course, some asshole then created a duplicate account with my username just to talk shit about everything I posted thereafter, just because. All I said was KH was getting to complicated for its own good, but otherwise love the games. But, no. Assholes have to be assholes.
