I totally agree about Water. It's my favorite typing of the starters. I also have a fondness for Electric, altough that's more of a preference as perhaps it isn't the best and my favorite Pokemon is on that typing.

Like Joaquim said, once you get used to the layout and discover enough of the map to locate the save stations, it's a lot easier to travel and save. That said, I had experienced moments of restarting from afar.
So nice you are enjoying the Wii U. it's a very nifty console and I see it holding up for more years. I'll add you on Miiverse someday.
I think the PS3 version of this is over Steam. That said, I would most like to play the originals, which are avaiable over GoG.
I remember seeing Game Trailers review of this game years ago and I was quite amazed by the look and intensity. I'll have this on my wishlist.
It is quite purdy. You should give it a try, I think you might like it.
Happens to everyone :P
Two very interesting articles. I can compare myself to your choice of getting a PS4 with my choice of going for a Wii U instead, since it was more out of love and preference with Nintendo.
I wouldn't say I was a caveman as much as I was a 6th gen gamer stuck on the 7th gen because of only having the Wii as a console preference. In fact, I can also compare that, since my rational mind wanted an Xbox 360, but in the end I went for the Wii. I also played a bit of catch-up with Steam.
I'd say that the Wii U and 3DS are the only "pop and play" consoles we have this gen. They don't require much setting at the beginning and you can leave the wi-fi functions later. That's kind of a thing with the newest consoles, since gaming is becoming more complex and online is rearing its head (ugly or not, depends on your look).
No shame is having your Steam or PS4 show you are playing Teletubbies in Time
I may look into it one of these days.
