I was wondering about the remake. Sounds good. I'll get both. 

Strategy X even got a port on Atari 2600. I don't think I ever played that even when I was collecting Atari carts. Never heard of Kit N Kaboodle. Can't seem to find it on wiki either. Now that's obscure!

I wish they'd make it backwards compatible on Xbox One, but that'll never happen. My ony issue with it is that it crashes my system every time I leave the game. 

I've had to replace my 360 system so many times now I forget which one I have now. I think it's an elite though. 

Only 20 GB? My eyes pop at about 40 these days. 

Yea. After getting into pinball, I started noticing a lot of sounds that made it into video games. Especially the Williams tables because they made Defender and some others, and used the sounds they made for their tables. Or visa versa, I'm not sure which came first. 

i hear Doom sound effects in modern games sometimes. I assume they are like public domain stuff. Like the wilhelm sound effect in movies.

I'd love to know the origin of that stuff too. 

Ha ha. I was kind of hoping you wouldn't. I actually surprised myself with that stuff since I really haven't watched a full hockey game in many years. It's a weird favorite sport that I never watch. 

I think I'm going to bump up Horizon Zero Dawn from "really want to play" to "must play". Guerrilla Games is a favorite developer of mine, so it should enter that hallowed hall. 

Well, Space Harrier is '85, so I might get to it in July. 

Surprisingly fun considering how simple it is. I executed some sweet passes and stuffed a few pucks in the corner of the net. I even dumped and chased, although Mark yelled at me to stop that. He hates that tactic in real hockey. What else does a muck-and-grinder do?

I so want to play his game A Boy and His Blob. When I get to 1990, I'm going to find and play it. 

Freeway occupied me much longer than I initially expected. Two play is where it's at though.

I've always wanted to play Defender of the Crown but could never get a hold of a copy.
