"I never played Skyward Sword but I read an article that claims that game had a similar "hard mode" that could be toggled on or off. For those of you that have played Skyward Sword, does it have a harder difficulty setting, did you ever play with it on, and what did you think of it?" - Michael117
It goes by the same name in Skyward Sword. You can't toggle it on or off.
I played it for about an hour after a finished the game, and I can say that it definitely got more challenging. You need to focus your attention on pattern striking a lot more because you can't go loosing hearts all willi nilly, and as a basis for comparison the "normal mode" of the game was harder than most recent 3D LoZ games. I wouldn't know how it faired in dungeons/bosses as I didn't go that far, but I can totally see it being a bitch to play.

I would if you are ready to play a hybrid RTS-Puzzle game. Then again who was when the first game came out on the GC. It has it's unique take on RTS gameplay mechanics, and yet it has a fun factor from exploring and puzzle solving.

New. I've bought used, but it was a last case scenario.

I turned off trophy notifications as soon as the update was available.

Hahaha the first time you do it it's fine if you're nervous about it because it just makes you that much more careful, and stops you from rushing. After that it's like riding a bicycle, you do it without thinking too much about it. If you have an old, non-functioning computer around go ahead and dissect the damn thing, that way you can learn from any mistakes. Of course it won't work, but that's besides the point. The point is you get comfortable with it. It won't bite you LOL.

The NES version is as a "3D Classics".
