Did you remember to wear your brown corduroy trousers
Did you remember to wear your brown corduroy trousers
I got notified by Miitomo that it was your birthday yesterday. I have stopped going in there so Happy Belated Birthday.
As for games on my wishlist, once I started going through my digital collections on various platforms I decided to cut right back this year.
I have 284 Steam games, maybe 50 on GOG, a bunch of unclaimed strays from Humble, over 1000 between PS3, PS4 and Vita and 50 or so between Wii U and 3DS. I need to stop buying things just because they are on sale.
Get thy shit together Dafty, We need your support.
Holy shit, and it's coming up fast. Not sure I have enough pandas.
Definitely looking forward to Yooka-Laylee. From the updates I get it looks like they really put a lot of work into it so I'm hopeful.
DQ VII is a long game and it really doesn't open up until you beat the Alltrades Abbey section of the game at between 20 and 30 hours depending on how much you explore and grind.
It is actually my favourite game of 2016 though and well worth spending the 100+ hours it takes to beat it. I spend 170 altogether but I cleared both the post game bonus dungeons.
I preordered the Switch based on a lot of games with no confirmed dates and some with. Here are the ones I would be interested in. Some are new, some already released but I'd like them in a portable format and some may never come out in North America but I can hope.
I figure the more people show support at launch the better chance we have of seeing some of these.
Nintendo Switch launch games confirmed so far
Post-release first-party Nintendo games
As well as the games of the above, Shigeru Miyamoto told Eurogamer back in 2015 that Pikmin 4 is on the way and it's likely to be a Switch title, and not the 3DS side-scroller announced in September.
Third-party Nintendo Switch games confirmed for 2017

Welcome back. It's good to hear from you again. We forget no one and we always leave a light on for prodigal members and doubly so for those who go all the way back to 1Up days.
I have XV but haven't put much time into yet. Been busy with DQ VII which I just finished and I'm now onto SMT IV Apocalypse with a bit of World of FF thrown in
Glad to see you are still still lurking Sidd. :)
You would probably enjoy I am Setsuna. Others have mentioned The Ratchet and Clank game and Valkyria Chronicles. I'm really having fun with World of Final Fantasy too.
You should try out some demos too. You might like Dragon Quest Builders but I'd try iit our first if I were you.
My next big one for the PS4 is Persona 5.
