I'm thinking about doing a blog on my favorite weekday afternoon cartoons, too.
Sailor Moon?!? Blech! Ew!

I have that Genesis Flashback. It's not very good. Sound is way off. I'd love to know how the others are, though. I'm sure they can't mess up the 2600 too much.
I got Mighty GunVolt for free at PAX Prime. It's all right, especially since it's free, but I really wasn't that impressed with it though. Capcom's faux NES game: Dark Void Zero, a DSiWare title, was much better. I haven't gotten the main GunVolt game yet because it looks pretty hard.
When your game is published, I wanna review it!
Oh and by the way, the link to the blog page takes me to my blogs, not everyone's. Just thought I'd let you all know.
Well, in Super Mario 3-D World, he and Luigi straightened out a pipe at the beginning, and I think they used wrenches then...
I wouldn't worry about trying to be like Mario. Really the only game where he did any plumbing, he was actually more on pest control duty.
I think the best place to start learning RPGs is actually the 16-bit ones. They were not too complicated or meandering. Final Fantasy IV is a good place to start, although FF6 is my personal favorite. Square even made a Final Fantasy game to appeal to beginner RPG players in the US called Final Fantasy Mystic Quest, but a lot of people don't like that one. I like it, though.
Also, Pokemon games and Mario RPGs are also good for beginners.
It looks like a cross between a ninja game and Rolling Thunder, and it looks like it takes two popular 80's themes: Ninjas and anti-drug messages. Still looks rather un-inspired, though. I do remember the bosses in this game, though, like the first level boss being that giant guy who just jumps around.
Have you ever played and reviewed Natsume's Shadow of the Ninja? I wonder if that one's any better.
I never really got into Limbo for some reason.
Here is my review of Korra:

Well you have Shovel Knight on your list, so that's good. WayForward's Shantae games are also fantastic. One of my favorite indie games is on the Xbox 360. it's a little old, so it may be hard to find to download, but Protect Me Knight is an awesome game and was made by Yuzo Koshiro's team Ancient.
