Where did all these RPGs come from?

It's pretty good. The battle system is a bit over-complicated, and I never really did understand the synthesis system, but I had fun with the story and all the little things the Tales games are known for. And not understanding either of those two mechanics didn't hamper my ability to complete the game at all. The graphics are pretty - I am fond of the watercolor effect for the backgrounds, and the music was good enough that I actually noticed it,which is more than I do with most games.

I wouln't call myself disappointed, merely underwhelmed. And I'm only a little way in, so too early to judge.

Not really. No overworld, just a map to choose your destination, and not really sure how some of the game mechanics work yet. And the protagonist is kind of annoying.

That's actually one of my favorites - both the board game and the PS1 version. It was one of my nephew's favorite games to play with me when he came up to visit in the summer when he was a little kid. I'm sorry you don't like it.

E3 has never really interested me. Especially when I don't own anything that is current gen other than my 3DS.

I liked Peggle enough that I bought the sequel.

Pretty reasonable for most things. Bull Moose Music has a set price for games based on systems that are older than the PS2/GC/Xbox era. They're all under $10. PS2, GC, and Xbox are varied, according to rarity, I think, but I've never seen one priced higher than $25. The other stores vary, and I think their pricing may be competitive with various internet sites. I did once come across an unopened, mint condition copy of Dragon Warrior for way too much money for my bank account (it was over $100, I draw the line at $80).

My problem is that I love all these long-ass JRPGs that take a million years to play through. My first and only system until a year or two after the PS2 came out was a Sega Genesis. The Christmas that my other half's little brother got a PS2 and gave us the ancient hand-me-down original Playstation that had been middle brother Matt's was the beginning of the end: within 18 months I'd acquired a PS2, an Xbox, a GBA SP, and a Game Cube to go along with it and was grabbing up games that had been out for a long time. So I'm essentially still playing catch-up.
