Sometimes the 3D backgrounds do clash, but I wouldn't call them terrible. The art is really beautiful in the remake. I would recommend playing the original first as it will cause you to appreciate the remaster even more.

True, but that restriction makes the game unique and forces you to use the grappling arm, which is the whole point of the game. Look at it as a little extra challenge.
I've played the original, and it IS tough. But as kids, you can play the same game over and over and get really good at it.
It takes some getting used to for sure.
Yes, there was another remake in 2009 just called "Bionic Commando" and it is NOT good.
Sounds cool. My guess is that it will release around Halloween, which would captialize on the scary aspect. Here's hoping it's good.
Dude, I played this as a kid! Loved it too. We also had the "Around the World in 80 Days" game which was just like this one. Good times.
Which Peter Pan game do you mean?
Yeah, anytime you feel like being a pirate.
Right now we could use a powered up 2! Or anything Mega Man!
That's strange, I find the first game to be the hardest, but that's just me. The only MM game I've beaten is MM X on SNES.
