I need to read Sandman and I've heard the Mega Man and Sonic comics are both pretty solid, so I'd love to read those crossovers. 

Don't watch Dr. Who yet. I keep telling myself I'll get through the episodes I started on Netflix, but I haven't yet.

I'm a pedestrian much of the time, but I don't walk in front of cars on a 30 mph road where there isn't a crosswalk and move like molasses the way some of these kids do. I'd have no problem with pedestrians if they at least used crosswalks instead of jumping out like ninjas then slowing down immediately when I slammed the breaks for them. 

And yeah, I love how they built that game with the same assets of the show. 

Well yeah, but that's cause I prefer racing to strategy games.

Did you see this weekend's Treehouse of Horror after the post-game show? I liked the Bart going to hell school segment, but while I knew all the references in the next two segments, I thought they relied too much on referential humor. 

I don't really get the love for Angry Birds or Candy Crush and I'd never spend money on either, but hell, I liked AB well enough when I had it and I'd probably like CC fine as well. I think there's a way to tell Facebook you want no more CC notifications. Pretty sure I did that or all my friends stopped giving me notifications. 

I'll start caring about basketball video games when Nowitzki gets on the cover of one like he should have been after their win in 2011. 

Those shoot-em-ups may be fun, but I always get lost amidst the hectic overfilled screens. Sounds like you had a similar experience.

I heard the announcers mention Escobar being from SDSU at one of the games. Made me think of you. I was happy with the Cowboys and Packers this weekend, which seems to be a theme for my weekends and I love it. Currently rooting for the Texans to beat the Steelers and so far it's looking like I'll get my wish. 

Well by that metric there have definitely been some insane blowouts, but the average game is much closer. 

But also by that metric (I went with 20 as the cutoff blowout score) about a quarter of the games played so far (26/150=.247 etc.) have been blowouts, so ... once again, I guess we're both kind of right depending on how you look at the parameters (they're actually not technically statistics, since I have the exact population of scores at my disposal). lol 

Funny, I get really annoyed with pedestrians in real life (you know you're just here for the druggie "college experience," just fail already and get out of my road), so I have no misgivings about running over TONS of them in GTA. 

I think South Park Stick of Truth might make it on my very short list of RPGs I actually like when it gets a price cut.

I actually did clean my apartment a bit and get back to my diet and exercise routine over the weekend, but I definitely didn't get as much done as planned. The apartment isn't clean-clean and neither is my car. It's just that now they both look less like a homeless tornado.
