yeah it's pretty hilarious they made it look like a VCR.  I remember reading this years ago and being astonished.  Well, thank God the NES was such a success.  All of video games depended on it.

The Weekender Super September Edition

Posted on 09/14/2014 at 12:01 PM | Filed Under Blogs

hey Weekender!

I saw Cap America for the first time the other night.  Liked it a lot, didn't love it.  I llike Cap as a character, and this movie is much better than the first one.  I used to read the comics as a kid, and have read some comics since.  He could be a really stupid character if you think about it, but he's actually quite fascinating, and is one of the best marvel characters no doubt.

I've been trying to finish the rewrite of the sci fi book I am writing, and only have a few pages left before I can shut the door on that.  Will be excited to move on and work on the second volume next.

Today is football day, and my brother just showed up at the house, so it willl be chill for the rest of the day.

Pixlbit Walk With Me

Twin Peaks was a major milestone in my teenaged life.  there wasn't a lot of "Weird" media around at that time in the mainstream, and we didn't have netflix or the internet, so Twin Peaks was a shock to the system.  I loved it.  And when Fire Walk with Me came out I saw it in the theater.  That movie is amazing!

I'm glad you're enjoying it.  It's a great story.

I hear you man, I love the fall. That being said, it's still in the 90s/100s here.  Goddammit.

Good luck on your date!  Dating can be fun.

The greatest epic in the history of comic books!

dat series is da shit.

I love Sandman.  The first trade is ok, but it really starts going after a while.  There's nothing else like it, and I really prefer it to his novels.

Retro Game of the Week: Pulseman

this looks really cool.  never heard of it before, but the graphics look great!  I'm a real sucker for unfamiliar Sega Genesis games..... sure, you can get a bunch on Steam and amazon, but there's so many that are just forgotten.

Feelin' Better

That's good your mother is feeling better.  My parents have had various health scares these past few years, and my dad is kind of in the midst of a new one, so I know how you feel.

Hope things get better.  Frown

The Day “Teh” Phat B/C PS3 Died

Posted on 09/13/2014 at 03:30 AM | Filed Under Blogs

yeah I saw this happen on Twitter.  I'm sorry man.  I worry abou the same thing happening to my ps3 all the time.

well, I don't know what advice I could give u.  I would move on to the ps4, and catch up to the missed ps3 games later.  But I can also see why you would want to have a new ps3 as well.
