"When people ask me what my favourite part of the bible is, I say the part where Jesus dies. I like that the author is willing to kill off such a major character from his work"
very good!
You seem to know the military in's and out's very well, I ve always cringed a little when people describe them as hero's (a proven propoganda technique for sure) especially when they don't really have much of a choice, my collegue (an ex soldier) once stated that people on the front line don't fight for their country, they fight for their friends standing next to them..... and they don't have much choice either, when bullets are flying at you (I assume) you want to get out alive and it would take a pretty hartless bastard to leave their friends there. It's the advertisement for the boys in green that pisses me off the most though, people don't realise that it's possible to kill people in war and feel ok about it at the time but it's often years down the line when they are removed from conflict and their mates that it hits them, and it hits them hard. It's also a little ironic when they state 'fight for your country' when your country screws you out of money and makes you spend most of your life working for nothing.
Oh and if I hear anything alse about a royal baby I'm going to throw up, that dark oil like sick from the exorcist.
