As you probably know by now, I'm not too much into this type of music but I do appreciate the laid-back nature of the genre.
It has been about ten years since I've seen O Brother so I can't even recall that scene!

Is that one of Disturbed's newer songs? I used to be pretty big on the band when I was in high school but then my music tastes seemed to change. I never thought Disturbed would make a song like that though.
Oh man, Pokemon Pinball brings back memories of when I had the GBC version. Wish I hadn't sold it oh so long ago.
That is a really awesome gift. Looks like you probably got a ton of PSP games to play now! Luckily, most of them can be found for dirt cheap (though I imagine that won't be forever since the system is being phased out in America).
And great picks for some alternative female perspectives. The only one I hadn't heard of was Ms. Pratchett. I remember when Raychul used to be a pretty popular blogger over on 1up!
Hmm, it sounds like kind of an inside joke to play such ancient, low-def games on that massive screen. I would love to see something like Bioshock Infinite on a screen like that, then the city would literally come to life! Still, that is pretty awesome you get to go and I hope you have fun!
I preordered it for $50, which is about the price it is sitting it at now a few months after release. Wait a few more and I'm sure it won't be hard to find for $30. As I said, in the comment above, 56 hours is with the optional content. Not too long if you got a lot of games to play and not too short if you go off the beaten path!
56 hours is a long time. I can only think of one game that I played recently that I put in that much time into (Dissidia 012). I did the majority of the optional content though. I would say the story content is probably less than half that length.
Those are refined tastes indeed!
I don't remember any funny part in Chasing Amy or I probably would have at least watched a little longer. Maybe I will give it another shot if I resubscribe to Netflix.
I watched Cinderella Man quite a few years ago and I remember liking it. I enjoyed the Great Depression setting, but based on my fuzzy memory it didn't stray too far from conventional sports movie patterns.
I watched a few minutes of Chasing Amy on Netflix. Maybe I didn't give it enough of a chance. Then again, I haven't liked any other Kevin Smith movie.
I imagine you are talking about the Crash film that won Best Picture some years ago, I thought that one was great. If it's the David Cronenberg film about people being turned on by car crashes then I would have to wonder what you saw in that one!
I finished FF Tactics in about 40 hours, though it actually felt closer to a hundred based on how much I died! Then there's the what seemed to be hundred of optional missions!
That's why you need a pair of headphones. I can't game on the PSP (or any handheld for that matter) without them, as it adds so much to the sound quality. Unlike, the weak built-in speakers.
What's your favorite movie. Or at least, what's one of your favorites?
