Yea, we'll have to see if it has staying power. First party Nintendo games go a long way, but third party could make it much more interesting.

I couldn't unlock the bosses in the races (you can use them to race with when you beat them) because I couldn't find a Land Race Adventure Pack, only the Sky and Water ones. The game does a great job making you constantly feel you need one more thing to buy.
Those in-game purchases seemed totally unnecessary to me, and I stayed away from that section of the Academy the whole time I played it.
I'm surprised at how much content is in the first Borderlands with all the DLC. I thought I'd be finished it by now, but I'm almost at 30 hours and still have the last two DLC's to finish.
Yea it's really great. The first game still holds up after seven years. Cell shading ages well.
There's been some interesting Diablo-like games recently I'd like to try like Torment: Tides of Numenera.
The Rogue One soundtrack sounded so much like Williams. I didn't realize it wasn't him until I watched the credits and saw Giacometi (some name like that).
Jet-Vac (the eagle-like Skylander) has become a running joke with Mark and I since seeing the TV show. In the show, he's frequently laying an egg when he gets nervous. It's funny and also strange since his voice is male and male birds don't lay eggs.
I was considering playing the whole Fable series on Xbox One like I'm doing with Borderlands but Fable 1 (or Fable Anniversay) isn't backwards compatible yet. WHY!?
To bad about Scalebound. I din't think a Platinum Games game could be cancelled like that but I hear it was too ambitious and was taking too long to complete.
I'm kind of considering only playing shorter games. Like, only playing downloadable games out currently and games made before the 2000s. I'm beginning to feel burdened by these games that take months to finish.
I does sound kind of shaky to me but I was in Gamestop the next day and the phone was ringing off the hook with people trying to place a pre-order. I think it'll sell out.
Oh yea, it was called Etrian Mystery Dungeon for 3DS. Not quite Shiren but definitely a rogue-like in the Etrian Odyssey world.
