Shooters are brutal. I've only gotten through half of the third level (you can choose what level to start with, but I just go with the one the game automatically starts with) in Thunder Force III.

Yeah, I've never loved stealth in video games that aren't made specifically for it and don't get why so many people apparently do, or do game companies just see the success of MGS and assume they should shoehorn it in?
For me, they seem more frequent in Bloodlines though, thanks to the vertically moving stages. I did not have as much of an issue with Rondo of Blood, for example. Could be personal preference.
