Gimme Shelter

One of my favorite games that involve 'cover' is probably the Army of Two series. All the games seemed to utilize cover really well, and if you were turtled down behind cover, enemies weren't afraid to flank you.

Plus the Aggro system in AoT made the cover system even better in my eyes.

Funny you mentioned Max Payne 3 also. I just picked it up a few weeks ago. I only beat a few missions so far, but overall it's not too shabby!

Thanks Ben, I did a lot of digging to find the best suited memes! lol

And I know what you mean about being slow to trust. I'm hesitating with both systems, but more-so with the X1 than the PS4. I don't think it was ever this bad whenever the 360 and PS3 were announced. Sure, people were divided into Fan-Sects, but I don't think people necassarily 'jumped ship' like that are with the upcoming generation.

How about you and I get together sometime, make a console solely for Gaming and Netflix (Because Netflix is fucking awesome, I can't deny that lol), and we'll market it to the masses as the PlayBox?

Honestly man, I'm just not sure what to think of the next gen as a whole. I'm really hoping that E3 can restore a bit of faith. I can't remember any other generation of consoles in which has spurred such distaste in companies.

Oh shit man.. I forgot about Vesparia, that was an awesome game!

And Nier would've been awesome if it weren't for that stupid fishing mini-game!

I've been awaiting a true sequel to the console'd Kingdom Hearts games. I loved the first two, but I just couldn't get into the handheld versions. I'm really excited for E3 though, I think we'll get some great gaming news.

Speaking of E3...
Whatever happened to that Furious Four game that was teased a few years ago? I know they were having some problems with it, but it's been non-existent for the last few years in terms of news.

Decent JRPGs on 360:

Lost Odyssey
Eternal Sonata

Both were GREAT games man! If you haven't played them, then I would definitely recommend them, especially Lost Odyssey! It was a great throwback to the SNES era of JRPGs and had an awesome story line as well!

Those are the only two memorable ones for me though.. Frown

Games without Manuals ( crap )

Whenever I first played All-Stars Battle Royale for PS3, I wondered where the book was. It was whenever I inserted the game and went to play that I saw a new icon for the manual directly under the game. It really pissed me off that I had to read the manual via PS3 in order to understand how to play the game.

I remember the very first time I ever played Call of Duty 4 online with people. They were raging that I was a level 1 noob and blah blah blah..

I may not have known the maps, but I finished it on Veteran difficulty before I played so I was well aware of how to play the game. By the end of the match I had the best k/d ratio of my team and instantly jumped to level 4 or 5.

I suppose the moral of my story though is that people should try to learn the basics of the game before they instantly try to jump online and be tough. I knew what to do before I jumped online, and I absolutely crushed it by doing so.

There was a guy working on an indie-release of a Battletoads remake a while ago. I haven't heard anything about it, but supposedly he's trying to get it licensed and released for current gen! Here's a video of his tech demo!

*Correction: I just read the title description and that's a compilation video of the guy's work*

I would absolutely love to see Legend of Legaia (PS1) remade. I love that game and it's probably one of my all time favorite RPGs
