there's a really good chance that I'll not be playing any more last gen (weird to think of ps3 and 360 as last gen) RPGs for a long time. I do have to get through Demon's Souls though.

Brother, my backlog is RIDICULOUS. I have so many unplayed games, I really have no business even thinking about buying a new-gen system.
Still though, I have my eyes on a WiiU....for the boyo...he loves Mario games.
Believe it or not, most people who buy first party Nintendo games don't redeem the Club Nintendo points.
Their loss
Borderlands 2 does that to me.
It looks like a good time. I sure wish my son's 3DS XL hinge hadn't busted, I'd have tried to get him on this one.
TW2 is perhaps an "ok" game....but you were absolutely right when you told me that most RPGs pale in quality after playing and being addicted to Dark Souls and Dark Souls II. I'd probably still be playing those two games had I not forced myself to move on.
I opted for the Killzone trilogy because I have really good memories from Killzone 2 and Killzone 3's multiplayer...though of the two I'd have to say that Killzone 2 had the superior multiplayer. Playing these games will get me ready for Destiny.
Are you going to be playing Destiny?
I have in the past, though my experience is really limited to a couple: Star Wars Galaxies, Lord Of The Rings Online, and DC Universe Online. I spent an entire month on DCUO...the first month it came out. At that time though the endgame content was utter shit, so I gave it up.
damn, bro...next time you want to get rid of all those hats, let me know and I'll pay you to ship them to me =)
i'm with Snee. I too am terrible at fighters. However, the culture and competitive spirit inherent in the genre is too compelling to dismiss. I'd love to check out EVO in the future.
platitude or no, I draw strength from all such support. Thanks, Peter!!!
