Nice to meet you. =) Any fellow Mega Man fan is coolios to me. Favorite series? Mine is the X games. I still try and play them occasionally.

You forgot to blame the NRA and extreme conservatism. Seems to be the thing to do these days lol.
I remember review shows! They were most prevalent in anime, iirc. Haven't touched Lego's in years either lol.
I feel the same way. Nothing was really, omg gotta have that. Not to mention that I have the feeling that Sony is scrapping all of their already existing infrastructure like the PSN and backwards compatibility for this new console. As far as the Wii U, I only have a lukewarm feeling for it so far. Feelings. Nothing more than FEELINGS!
Yeah, it sucks that ZD shit the site down, but I'm not complaining. When you drop support from a site you own and expect it to do well, it's no wonder they weren't making any profit. That's why I'm not a big fan of mergers and buyouts.
I very much agree with immaturity being counterproductive to video games achieving mainstream acceptance. I never played Lolipop Chainsaw due to that reason. Same thing with Naughty Bear, since I have no desire to murder polygon people for fun. That said, there are some mature games out there which do a good job without needing fan service or violence to sell themselves.
Sorry, I have to defend the game on that. Aim and Shoot are 2 different buttons like any other game that have you shoot in. Triangle only comes into play when you want to go into first person mode. You can even turn it off so you automatically go into FPS mode when you aim. The game isn't meant to be a FPS. It's a third person stealth game. They added first person to make happy those people who mostly like shooters. As far as cinematics, I agree that there were way too many of them, and they were too long. Thankfully, you could skip most of them.
My choices from last gen would be the Fatal Frame, Maximo and Xenosaga games.
Good read! I think they redid Ratchet & Clank already, plus your Wind Waker suggestion is coming true later this year. My top choice is definitely the Castlevanias.
I like the cut of your jibe! lol
