I like ToF and DQ2 a lot. Also, I really enjoyed that Arc the Lad game too. I don't know why, but I enjoyed the characters and the story. The gameplay got pretty boring though. I do understand why all of these are not in your top 100. I would have ToF in mine, but I really like all of the Tales games.
I still use your top 100 list to find games that I haven't played. I am not a huge fan of lists, but you brought a lot of original insight to each game on the list. I really enjoyed it.
Might have to get this game. Big Pete Townshend fan. The Who is one of my favorite bands of all time. Roger Daltry is still one of the coolest people on the planet.
Man, I really hate bad ai. Sounds like Ni No Kuni almost is broken by it. This game is currently in my backlog. I am going to give it a fair shot. I love DQVIII and hope this game will remind me of it. It does look great. But, I am not a big fan of familiar collecting games. Hopefully, my experience with this game will be a bit better. I am also a fan of the ass. What an odd comment on a video game blog. I have to say, I agree with you on the Xbox shit. If these rumors are true, as they seem to be from things MS people are saying (though they can't seem to get their stories straight) I am done with the Xbox. If Sony pulls the same shit, I am sitting out this generation. Well, I will eventually get a Wii U to play the new Xenoblade game. But at least I can sell them when I'm done.
If EA created a system, it would be the (granted, still rumored) Xbox1. I like to collect games. Hell, most of the games I buy now are for previous systems. If MS is out of the video game business in 20 years, I am afraid 1) I won't be able to play the games I already bought, and 2) won't be able to buy Xbox1 games. I want to buy games, not lease them. I still buy and play nes games. Also, I like single player games too. I don't want to connect to the internet to play them either. I don't want to have to pay a fee to do so (which is why I use the ps3 for online games). As far as the multimedia shit, I have things that already do a lot of that, and I don't have to pay for an Xbox gold account to do so. I was an MS fan. I have been an MS stockholder for ten years. I am not happy with the (granted rumored) restrictions on this thing.
I just rage quit this game and I have never heard of it. There is nothing I hate more in a game than cheap ai. I don' t mind difficult. Sometimes I rage quit because of difficult only to replay the game a minute later. But cheap sucks. I haven't really played any strategy rpg's. I need to find a good entry point to the genre. Really enjoyed the review.
Awesome stuff man. I always wished I could draw, paint, play music. Something artistic. Unfortunately, the only talent I have is the ability to open a beer bottle with just about any object.
Sup man, glad you made it. Pixlbit has the same community feel as 1up, but more modern. They have really bent over backwards to make us all feel welcomed.
I can't wait for Xilia. Tales has become my favorite franchise. I agree Graces wasn't the best, but even a less than average Tales game is still fun. I hope we get Xilia 2 also.
