Should we start a Comic Book Club?

You could just go digital like me. Waking up every Wednesday to download all the new Spider-Man adventures is an awesome way to start the day.

Games Are Too Bloody Long!

I agree with your point, but still say The Last of Us never outstayed its welcome. Where you had a "here we go again..." moment there, I had a "here we go again!" moment. That said, that and Resident Evil 4 are the only linear action games which took me over twelve hours that didn't really feel their length.

Though I think sandbox games do this worse than any other genre. So many missions in GTA, Saints Row, and Assassin's Creed that felt so pointless both from a story and gameplay standpoint and would have served better as side objectives. Assassin's Creed 3 more than any other, that game just had no respect for your time.

When do you know it's time to give up on a game?

Mass Effect 3 also. Those Banshees still give me nightmares.

Nintendo franchises that might make neat Warriors games

I think Zelda and Pokemon are it really. Mario and Kirby are too nonviolent for a Warriors game, Fire Emblem doesn't have as many iconic characters, Metroid and Mega Man are too range focused. I could maybe see Smash Bros, but we already have Smash Bros for that. I'd rather see Star Wars than any of these personally.

Also there's not much reason to get into all the DW games. Just get the most recent one. They're mostly the same game with a few new bells and whistles.

Lets talk Pokken Tournament, shall we?

You forgot Heracross on there. Gamefreak loves it, fans love it, Megalution, and DAT HORN!!! Think Pinsir and Scyther/Scizor will be in it too on the topic of bugs, and Dragonite, Charizard, Blaziken, Tyranitar and the Nidos will be there as well. Hoping Bisharp, Breloom, Poliwrath, and Weavile make it in as well.

I couldn't get into this game. It had plenty of charm, but combat was torture for me. Felt like it was trying to rip off Pokemon without better designs (which matters more than you think when it's based around capturing creaturs to fight) and a real time/turn based mix that just didn't work for me.

Heavy Rain is more one of those games that blurs the lines, but the things it does separate it. You can get the same effect from Depression Quest if you had a paper book wtih a CD or MP3. You can't get that same effect from Heavy Rain. Maybe interactive stories are a game in a sense (even though I feel they're still more of just a story), but it can't be called a video game if there's no video.

Sorry, but Depression Quest really isn't a game. It's an interactive story with music. There's dozens of websites where you can write your own. Doesn't change that this shouldn't even be in the argument when discussing her game, but look up "interactive story" on the internet and you'll see dozens of stories told similarly to hers that aren't called games.
