Christmas is coming a little late for the handheld gamer.
After months of speculation we can finally put a solid date to the upcoming release of Sony’s newest portable system. Sony has made official a February 22 release date for the Vita in North America and Europe.
Yes that's right, we're back again with minimal upgrades... sort of.
As you know if you visit PixlBit, version 2.0 launched just a few months back. Despite the upgrade, we still weren't satisfied and neither were our readers. Thankfully, one such reader stepped up in an incredible way. Vic Roman provided the design for the brand new site template you are looking at right now, as well as all of the logo designs. The secondary series tries to expand to reach a wider audience.
Jak and Daxter, Ratchet & Clank, Sly Cooper. These are probably the platformers you think of when talking about the PS2. In an era that saw the genre lose its footing to first person shooters like Halo and Killzone, Sony’s second console still had a stable of successful platformers. However, some were cast aside, left to wallow in the abyss of subpar imitators. Ty the Tasmanian Tiger is one of those copycats. The series was never taken seriously despite its modest success with critics. This is mostly because the series does skew to a younger audience and truth be told, the aforementioned titles had more to offer. That’s not to say that this game has nothing to offer but only fans of the genre will want to get Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 2: Bush Rescue.
The video shows off what Metal Slug could look like using AR technology on Wii U.
You want a Star Wars MMO with lots of story and customizable Jedi? Then so be it.
MMOs in general have been fun for me, but none draw me in because of the overall lack of story and motivation. Yes, leveling up and questing is fun but for me, I like to have narrative in my experience. Because of this, Star Wars: The Old Republic has been on my personal radar for a while now. Not only does it promise a traditional MMO experience and lots of Star Wars related goodness, but it also contains the story, character development, and conversation trees that Bioware is known for. My hands-on with the game quickly made me realize that this is a game that I could easily get lost in.
