This week's PB & Jason consists of a bit of rage, really. Expect to hear disappointment in Nintendo's latest Wii console and software discounts, particularly sentiments resembling "Too little, too late."
Is Nintendo planning to release a smaller, cheaper Wii?
I have a secret. I believe something about the Wii no one else is talking about. Everyone is busy buzzing about the next Nintendo console. All anyone has to do is mention a “Wiiii,” “Stream,” or even just the “Wii HD,” and people go absolutely crazy over controller designs, console designs, rumored upcoming titles, rumored developers, and all of that. My secret is different. See, I believe we're going to see a Wii-make of the Wii pretty soon. And yes, that's the last time I'll use the “Wii-make” pun.

This week starts with a special site announcement delivered by Nick and Chessa, but is promptly followed by regular weekly discussion. Given the swirling rumors of the Wii successor, discussion of the upcoming system continued this week. What's now confirmed as Project Cafe is discussed in detail, as is the credibility of the various rumors that are floating around.
Update: A better Wii deal than we thought?
It appears to celebrate Easter, Toys R Us is offering a Friday and Saturday video game sale, among their other promotions. The Wii will also be on sale for $159.99, Toys 'R' Us's lowest advertised price, ever.
I'd rather ride the Dinosaur Train.
Imagine a world filled with dinosaurs. Dinosaurs with issues. Social hierarchies. Cliques, even. In this world, everything is awesome for all the dinosaurs involved. There's balance. The big, top-of-the-food chain dinosaurs, the scavengers and hunters, the plated dinos, those with armor on their back, and even the dinosaurs with horns are all awesome friends. One day, though, the Arkosaurus shows up. Meteors fall from the sky! Everyone gets cranky, and so it's time for a leader: one (or more) from each of the main dinosaur families fights his (or her?) way through the jungle and desert, taming their former friends for the chance to take on the Arkosaurus bully and bring peace back to some sort of misshapen globe.

You've heard it here first, ladies and gentlemen: EAD is working on a game for Nintendo's Wii successor. Or will work on one at some point in time. Anonymous inside sources informed me it was true, scout's honor! A lot of this week's PB & Jason is full of stuff like that!

The forefront of Episode 28 is Nintendo. Why? Because of the numerous rumors about the Wii's successor, which apparently will be revealed at this upcoming E3, which is exactly what Nick and Jason estimated would happen last week, in Episode 27.
