Shortly after the Squall, it started snowing and hasn't really let up since. I got lazy and stopped training. Stupid of me. There's 80” of snow out there, and not much is packed, I hate road running, and there's no room on the side of the road. And I'm an idiot for not going out anyway. The White Out wasn't nearly as much fun as the Squall...

Have a random update from last week.

So I'm a week behind, wanna make something of it? I'll catch up this week at some point.

I sat down to play some Tales of Xillia 2 this evening, and fell asleep sitting up with the controller in my hand. I'm not awake enough to come up with anything more for BaD today. I'll come up with a plan this weekend for more interesting blogs for the rest of the month. 'Night all!

I'm not feeling creative tonight, and everyone is sick of listening to me go on and on about snow, so here are seven things you might not know about me:

And yet another snow storm looms in my immediate future. Yay. Actually, if I didn't have to shovel it, I'd be a lot more excited. Did my weekly grocery shopping and was picking stuff up to make chili. Apparently, so was everyone else. Glad I already had most of what I needed, because the shelves with the canned beans were pretty bare, as was the section with the canned tomatoes. I got lucky and managed to find a can of plain diced tomatoes, and with that and the hamburger, i was all set. So tomorrow I have gaming and cooking chili on the agenda, and nothing else.

Woke up to another five foot snow drift between me and my car and no hot water this morning. I have cold water, but nothing comes out when I turn on the hot water tap. I think the pipe from the water heater to the inside of the cottage is frozen somewhere. I borrowed a space heater from my landlady and went down into the scary crawl space and turned it on, but it doesn't seem to be helping so far. I'll give it another hour and see what happens and go from there.

Happy official first day of BaD, everyone! I have several reasons for being happy today. First and foremost: Patriots won the Super Bowl. Any comments hating on the Patriots will be deleted. You can hate them, just do it elsewhere. It was an awesome game, against a great opponent, and to be truthful, I thought it was over when Kearse made that incredible catch. Butler should have gotten MVP instead of Brady, in my opinion, because he certainly saved them with that last minute interception.

Getting ready for the storm here in Maine. Not too concerned about it - I have plenty of food, lots of books to read, I ran all my errands, rescheduled my massage therapy appointment, went to Portland and hung out with Jason for the afternoon, and bought a couple of new games with my Bull Moose gift card and the store credit I got for selling some DVDs to them. And last night I stocked up on hot chocolate, chips, and french onion dip. I'm good to go! I'm a little annoyed with myself after taking the DVDs in. I sold seasons 1-4 of Bones and was planning on selling seasons 1-3 of Supernatural. Everything went well until the store clerk went to check the discs for season 2 of Supernatural and said "Do you know this case is empty?" And lo and behold, it was! I bought it used off Amazon a couple of years ago and never even opened it. Like I said, annoyed with myself for not checking when I got it, and now it's way too late to do anything about it. Anyway, I picked up Batman Arkham City GOTY edition used and Tales of Xillia 2 new and still have a couple of bucks credit left.
