PixlBit

I played Tomb Raider a couple of days ago, and even with my laptop having only the minimum 512MB graphics card requirement, it still looks amazing. I've not quite made it to the radio tower yet, but I do have a better grasp on the game than I did before. 

Since my brother works at what is now AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX, a.k.a. The Spaceship, a.k.a. "Jerry's World," a.k.a. what I'm still going to be calling Cowboys Stadium because it takes so much less time to say than the new "correct" name, he got my family tickets to take a VIP Tour of the stadium. It was my older brother's day off, so his friend L'amont gave us and whoever else the tour. He was funny and everyone liked the tour. I took a shit ton of pictures that I will post with a recap of the tour later. 

In between watching the pilot/first episodes to a bunch of stuff in my Netflix cue to see what should or shouldn't stay in there, I decided to listen to jgusw and his friend's podcast about 80s cartoons and play Travis Hawk's Frothy Bird game.

So after several drowsy reactions to medication and finding not enough time due to other things the past few weeks, I finally finished coding all of those advertisements for my professor's pilot study, 296 in all. 

It seems yesterday was my day to fuck around, where today is all about lying in bed and getting in srs bizness mode to finish coding ads for my professor, a task which really should not have taken me this long were it not for lack of sleep, drowsy medication, and the crazy things my mind does when bodily issues like that are combined.

So I woke up, got my car back with a ride from a friend, worked in my office a bit, went to The Lego Movie with an old friend, decided to go to a taco place I'd heard about but never tried called The Rusty Taco on the way to work out, because tacos played a key role in the movie, found out the campus rec center closed early for Spring Break today, texted the friend I went to the movie with, who invited me to Chili's with her and my ex-gf, ate at Chili's and talked with them for a bit, then came back to my office to eat the rest of my Rusty Taco meal that was left unfinished by the call to Chili's, then came back to the office and had one of the DJs help me get my Mexican Coke open without a bottle opener, as he frequently visits Mexico himself and wanted me to enjoy the real sugar used in it, and then started watching the installment of The Cinema Snob's The Random Butter Series where he and his friend talk about Cats and the recent Oscars, which is currently paused, and now I'm back in my office about to do the rest of my coding of my professor's advertisements, as well as some things I want to get done around the station that will prove to be long projects, after commenting where I need to anyway. 

As opposed to Fat Tuesday. I guess.

Well, having not used Soundcloud in a while, I thought I could cancel my 30 minute podcast upload and it would still be in my profile somewhere. Nope. It had been 8 hours since beginning to upload, and was at 3.09MB/146 or so MB (maybe over 156, I forget), and I was not about to wait.

EDIT: Forgot to post a motivational message for today almost. Let the record show that I beat the midnight deadline!
