Being that today's best story was Zelda-related, I decided to play the original The Legend of Zelda on http://nintendo8.com not 5 minutes before typing this, which is only fitting, being that it is the ... actually it's the 5th most popular game on the website behind Tetris, meaning it doesn't have any significant correlation to today's date. Well, shit. The things you miss when pumping a blog out not 10 minutes before midnight. 

Just saw this on my Facebook feed. 

So I've been awake since 4pm yesterday, so this will be short. 

Today was not great for me, either. I fell asleep early in the morning again, after watching last year's Rush at midnight, getting done at 2:30am or so, and finding out there was a long-as-hell line at the Whataburger when I tried getting those 76 more grams of protein I needed via a Chop House Cheddar Burger and two large fries with spicy ketchup. 

Media a Day - I'm going to try and consume some type of media every day and talk about my experiences on here, with the one other rule being that I have to play or reminisce about one video game every day, using backlogger's fortune cookie thing, suggestions, memories that pop into my head, etc. I may choose to podcast this stuff in the future, we'll see (sorry, Matt; I'm curious why you're so averse to podcasts). Oh and Nicelob1989 had an awesome idea of posting an inspiring message every day in March. Mine for today is 

It's a bit like Good Friday, which when I was Catholic and living at home meant the last Friday we had to have either cheese pizza or Long John Silvers for dinner, only in this case it's not blogging that was being given up and it ends in February.

I finished Ghost Trick last night and it has become my favorite video game story ever. I don't know about favorite gameplay, which is unique and rewarding as well, but definitely my favorite plot and cast of characters in anything I've played. 

which is why I slept in until late afternoon, wrote my paper hastily and left for class at 4pm. Just now got done working out after eating after class.
