Well, yesterday involved more moving; luckily this time it was just a dresser, so it didn't take long; unfortunately, my brother lives very close to both Cowboys Stadium and Rangers Ballpark, so traffic was terrible and roads were blocked off, making getting to where he lives a lot more frustrating than it had to be if we had known about certain side and/or back roads earlier.At least I'm pretty sure that's the last of it all, so no more moving.Thanks Wonder Woman, wherever you are.

Well, if you're wondering where I was yesterday, I was helping my older brother move into his new apartment. Took a lot longer than expected; I thought we were going to be there from like 9:30am to 4pm, ended up being more like 11am to 11pm. But hey I got some exercise in ... and somehow, a sunburn... and we ate at Boomer Jack's which is a good bar and grill place. Dad bought food, my brother bought drinks. Very nice of both of them.

One thing you don't have to ask is if I'm lazy. I think this is proof enough I am. TGIF mofos! It's finally sunny again, so I'm going for my walk/jog/run!I'll still be commenting and such when I get on throughout the day.

Well, my last blog was a bit negative, and I really shouldn't have complained about things, as it wasn't near as bad a day for me as others, I just needed to type it out as a form of catharsis in some weird way. Truth be told, I was seeing the silver linings by the time I wrote it, just needed an outlet for some odd reason. But now, I'd rather share some laughs. Like this video where we find out the recently passed, anti "games as art" film critic, Roger Ebert, did in fact play a game: TMNT on NES. Even better, it's in a movie he thinks is "so bad," which itself is about video games ... and at some point not shown here, the Power Glove.Last thirty seconds of this are quite fun.

Well, I found out earlier on facebook that film critic Roger Ebert passed away today. I was a big fan of the "At the Movies" show growing up; PBS didn't make it easy to figure out what times it was coming on each week, but I always made sure I found out. I've been told I was able to read the newspaper at a very early age, and loved reading the Movies section the most. I know this is a gaming website, but I think of all media, I'm most obsessed with movies to this day, and it was always fun and interesting to read and hear his candid insight. No, that's not lolcatz speak, Texas Rangers pitcher Yu Darvish was so close to having a perfect game that my dad called me and woke me up to see ... that the Astros hit his ball with one out left in the bottom of the ninth. Oh well, still a perfect seven to zero, which I think means, or at least meant before, Papa John's pizza deals for Rangers fans.We took advantage of that A LOT in previous seasons (rule is/was, if Rangers win and have at least seven points, you get half off your order; I think Jerry Jones owning a few franchise stores in TX had something to do with it).

I don't really think too much about April Fools Day any more. In many recent years, it's come and gone without me even realizing it. I suppose that's a good thing, as though I miss out on the "fun," I also miss the annoyance. And hell, Adult Swim playing a hilariously censored version of The Room isn't much of a trick, since after we both watched the Nostalgia Critic review of it I showed him, my friend Austin actually asked me to watch it with him on April Fool's Day; and it wasn't a trick, it was just as gloriously bad as I thought it would be, which made it great. Still, there's a certain something I miss about being so duped I had to slow clap for a job well done. From my memory, there's only two times this happened, and they were the doing of Electronic Gaming Monthly.
