Hello Pixlbit and Happy Monday. Before we get started with my ramblings about what I’ve been playing and what not, I’d like to take a minute to talk about the significance of yesterday. If you live in the United States everyone (I hope they do) should know about what happened at Pearl Harbor. Growing up I spent my summers in Hawaii, and I would always try and visit the Arizona Memorial.

Good Friday Morning Pixlbit Nation! It is a gloomy Friday Morning here in Rainy Southern California. Yes, it is true Southern California doesn’t deal well with weather that isn’t triple digit hot, or in the 70s. Anything that falls out of the sky people tends to forget the rules of the road. I blame Hipsters. So I am typing this while listening to my “Not Heard Christmas Music” playlist and I have to say some of the songs people write for the holidays are not that great, along with some of the covers of songs that I like. It’s an odd thing but that’s just me. Anyways so it is Friday, and I need to make a few calls this morning (I’m waiting for a couple of businesses to open) and I have to run down to the Post Office to mail out my stuff for the baby cousins, so we need to get this edition of Quick Hits up and running!

Well Happy Freaking December Pixlbit Nation! This is my favorite time of the month because we drag a perfectly good outdoor tree inside, throw a bunch of stuff on it, and throw boxes wrapped in wacky designs and sing about snow, wonderlands, and a dude in red breaking into your house. Yes, THIS.IS.CHRISTMAS SEASON! Why do I like Christmas? It’s not the gifts, but they play a big part of it. It’s the celebration. In school craft day we would make the fun things like cutouts of snowman, candy canes, and have music in the classroom. In band we would play songs I actually knew (seriously who knows some of these marches that marching bands play?). This time of year also reminds me of the JC Penny catalog where in the back there was a ton of pages devoted to toys and later on video games. Younger Chris would study that thing like no other. Just think if that were an actual textbook I’d be a rocket scientist. Anyways

Happy Black Friday Pixlbit…or what I like to call, eat as much food as possible and sleep. Yes this is how I am going to spend my day: eat, sleep, eat, sleep, eat, video game time, eat, and video game time while eating. Yes this is a good way to spend time. Happy Thanksgiving Pixlbit. What did you? Anything fun, exciting, boring, or the usual? Well since I am updating my blog I thought I’d share my experiences with you good people.

Happy Tuesday Pixlbiticans, and Turkey Day is only a couple of days away! Because of this I might only do one blog this week because, well let’s face it there is going to be a lot of food and I want to eat, sit in front of the television, and maybe enjoy a couple of power naps. Hey everyone outside of the US, go ahead and celebrate too. Eat something with turkey, put a buckle on your hat, and think about the stuff you are thankful for. Speaking of, I am thankful to have a little piece of the Internet like Pixlbit to write all my randoms and share common hobbies (and pick up some new ones) with you good people. There are a ton of good folks here who have different opinions, and thoughts I wouldn’t have but that’s the beauty of spots like this. We all have our views and nobody is wrong (unless you hate the Yogurtland Rockpop flavor. You’re just a terrible human being  ) and because of this I thank you good folks for making this little piece of the Internet warm and cozy!

So get this Pixlbit, I just realized that Thanksgiving is next week. Next freaking week. Oh the excitement is building because once Thanksgiving Dinner is over, Christmas Music is in full swing, and I will check out Black Friday deals. There is no way I’m going when the stores open because there will be yahoos fighting over $3 DVDs, so I’ll wait an hour or two, and besides the Target and Walmart by the house will be opened early so I will be happy to find a $20 game. How was your weekend Pixlbit? Anything fun, good, or exciting? My weekend was spent on “The 10” (you odd folks who don’t live in Southern California just refer to the freeway number) Wikipedia even has an entry for it. Who knew?

Well hello there Pixlbiticans. It has been a breezy week here in Sunny Southern California. I like to use the metrological term “Windy As F*ck” when describing the weather. Heck I didn’t even bother to go to the midweek Swapmeet. I bet fake Lego Lady probably had the Red Hulk. So it is Friday, I am excited because the weekend is almost here, I need to buy a birthday gift for my cousin’s kid, and it is time for another Quick Hits!
