The last couple years I’ve applied a year-long theme to help me choose media to consume. Last year I chose from a different 5-year span every month starting with my birth year. This coming year I thought I’d make it decades and start at 1900.

I've rediscovered the joy of riding horses in Minecraft. All that tedious walking is instantly left behind with a good horse.

I don't know why, but as I got tired of playing just about everything, I've been somewhat revived by puzzle games.

I'm still in choice paralysis, but when Mark invited me into his Minecraft world (survival mode), I had to go. So we played that a good long time. What's to tell? Just a lot about frustrating hidden treasures and cats, lots of cats.

i struggled to complete the second tutorial exam in Final Fantasy Explorers. Mark and I challenged each other in various Atari Flashback Classics Vol. 3 games. We watched Blade Runner 2049. We played Minecraft in co-op, survival mode for a good long time. That's it in a nutshell.

I picked up Final Fantasy Explorers today, finished the new achievements in Minecraft, and spent a little bit of time on Fortune Island in Forza Horizon 4.

I saw Mortal Engines last weekend and today Mark and I tackled Minecraft's newest achievements having to do with the panda and scaffolding.

Ready for Xmas? This collection was sort of my gift to myself this year. There are 15 5200 games total. I played all but the 2-player ones. The following five I have something to say about.
