So again, health issues and work have kept me from blogging here as much as I'd like, but I thought since BF4 was released yesterday and I've managed to get some time in with it, I should give my first impressions.

So I managed to catch up on Breaking Bad just under a week after the series finale. I'm hating myself for seeing this show earlier. Some time during the third season, I began having the feeling that the entire series was written prior to filming. Nothing in the show felt out of place or irrelevant. In fact, the entire run seemed very lean and streamlined to me.

I put this show on my Netflix Instant Queue a couple years ago and never got around to watching it. Now, with the series finale airing this Sunday, I've decided to binge through all 5 seasons in time to avoid having the show spoiled for me.

Living in South Texas, I have learned to appreciate rain when it comes around, as it's usually pretty rare. However, after a massive leak and collapsed ceiling a week and a half ago, I've grown less favored to it.

As much as I had planned to write often for my blog, life reared it's ugly head and kept me from putting fingers to keyboard. Mandatory overtime at work, mixed with my persistent stomach issues and a crazily leaky roof all sucked away my time and my desire to even attempt writing.

Please forgive me. As I said in an earlier post, I have not been posting here regularly and am trying to make up for that by posting blogs that originate from my time MIA. This opinion piece comes from a time so long ago: the 2013 E3 convention.

So anyone who was around gaming last year has some knowledge of Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead release, either because they played it or heard about it from those raving lunatics who played it. I was one of the raving lunatics.

After playing Journey Christmas Day last year, I had made a promise to myself to play more downloadable games during 2013. I have fallen far, far short of that goal. However, having PSPlus has given me oppurtunities to try some games for free. Granted, most of them have been big name titles (Saints Row the Third, I'm looking at you), but one in particular fit the indie developer bill.
